What makeup and hair should I do for a formal dance?

Q. We have this dance coming up soon and I want to look really pretty but not overdone. I want to look mysterious but also soft. I want to make sure that I look like the best one there. Pictures are greatly appreciated!
Ok I have brown hair and dark brown eyes. My skin is tan and it is a hawaiian dance. My dress is turquoise above the knee and I am wearing it with strappy silver sandals.

The turquoise color is very very difficult to make it suit well.
The first great combination, but very risky to wear it (because you might do something wrong, and this style needs perfection) is green smokey eyes with very hard dark above the lash line. You must do this make up perfectly! Your skin must be perfectly made up so you don't look like you've been up all night studying. Your cheeks must be outstanding dark bronze and your lips natural beige, try to avoid pink lipstick. Here are some pictures for this style. BUT the best way to don't mess something up is to go with the variant : classic smokey eyes
