I think loafers are another unisex/androgynous shoe as the design/print usually can work for both sexes but can also be a twist for the opposite sex in the case of coloring/design that maybe usually attributed to one gender

Q. I am a man looking for a different type of shoe. I have a pair of Jordan High tops and White Nike Low tops for casual wear. I hate when people jump on the bandwagon for fashion and getting something just because everyone else has it. For example, in my high school, Vans Authentic shoes and Sperry boating shoes (Boys & Girls) are very popular. I really like the Vans, but everybody has them and I refuse to buy them.

It would be nice if people could leave some suggestions on some shoes that are stylish and attractive (FOR MEN) but not really trendy. I'm sure that it will be mostly women that answer this question, so this is the question for the women. What do you think looks attractive on men?

I wear a lot of those brands. Most of my clothes are American Eagle, Ralph Lauren, Levi Jeans, Nike Shoes, some Adidas, no earrings. I graduated high school this year. People at my school wore the Hollister, Jordans, Airmax, Tru Religion, etc.

A. I was just there about a week ago. Most of the guys i saw were wearing board shorts, and either tanks, t-shirts, or golf shirts with them. Some had trendy jeans, with golf shirts, or collared shirts. As for shoes .. a lot had flip flops on.. or trendy trainer type shoes.

There really was some of everything. I did notice when i was downtown in the city that everyone was dressed very trendy and business like for work.

They seem pretty trendy there.. but have a look of thier own.

When you're there go check out Glenelg on a weekend. It's pretty fun.

What are trendy things that people do now?

Q. I need some inspiration I am writing an article on what is trendy ( social wise) like drinking star bucks, twiiter, etc. what are some trendy things that young people do, now in 2009?

A. I will tell you about me: but i do it because i like it not because of other people wearing it. I'm a 16 year old female just 2 let u know. lol.
I love wearing skinny jeans only/ some colorful skinnies.
I love wearing Forever 21, some hollister, etc.
I love low top vans, i love gladiator sandals, high heels.
I love dresses (no back, and strapless, etc.),
I love Starbucks (frappaccino's, cookies, double shots, etc.)
I love Urban outfitters, H&M, shoe stores,
I love my blackberry phone, xbox 360, my laptop, my jewelry.

What should a 12 year old boy wear to a wedding?

Q. My little brother wants to wear black dress slacks, a white/cream "silk" collared polo, and white Jordan basketball shoes to a "formal" wedding. I think he should change shoes, but he insists just because they are new. The wedding is THIS Saturday, August the 18th...please help me convince him that he is too casual for the wedding!

At a formal wedding, he should wear a dark suit, tie and dress shoes.

Wedding Style for him

* Informal Daytime: Dress shirt and pants, preferably a sports jacket.
* Informal Evening: Suit
* Semi-Formal Daytime: Suit
* Semi-Formal Evening: Dark suit
* Formal Daytime: Dark suit and tie
* Formal Evening: Tuxedo (if invitation states "black tie") or dark suits if women wear short dresses.
* Ultra-formal Evening or White Tie: White tie, cummerbund, vest and shirt.

Do's and Don'ts for Him

* Don't try to get cute with a tuxedo. A black tux with white shirt and black bow tie is the best way to go. If "Creative Black Tie" or "Texas Formal" or some sort of other vague formal description is used, then going with a tux and black shirt, no tie, might be acceptable. Also, trendier cities like Los Angeles and New York might be more accepting of breaking with tradition.
* Do wear a dark suit, with a tie if the wedding is after 6 PM, and doesn't say "Black Tie."
* Don't wear a tuxedo during the day time, regardless of the formality of the event.
* Do use good judgment if the invitation doesn't specify the formality of the event. A dark suit and conservative tie will take you just about anywhere.

Q. We are going to an anual cookout with hay rides and a huge bonfire. It's usually slightly cool at night like 55-65 but during the day warmer like 70-79. What are somethings a 16 year old teen boy can do in New York ?

Q. this Spring Break , i'm going to New York with my auntie. So i was wondering , what are some things a boy my age can do ? Like malls , or teen clubs or shoe stores / clothing stores. If you've been there recently or live there currently let me know on things I can do.

A. You are going to have so much fun! I will list off a few things for you!
1) Empire State Building. Very touristy thing to do but it really is cool I prefer to do it at night to see the city all lit up but either way it's a must do.
2) Broadway show. If you have the option to go definitely do it. When I went to NY with my family at 16 I did not want to go see Mary poppins on broadway...thought it would be boring. Turned out to be unbelievable.
3) Times Square. Idk where you will be staying but you HAVE to make the journey down there. So many cool things you will be blown away. Lots to do!
4) Shopping. Check out 5th ave it's where the spendy shops are but there it is a very awesome place. Even if you don't buy anything it's a cool place to check out.
5) Serendipity. Check out this place they are famous for there frozen hot chocolate.
6) The met. This may not be for you since it's an art museum but it's famous and alot of people check it out.
7) China Town and Little Italy. These places are crazy I think you would enjoy checking them out!
8) SoHo. This is a really cool part of town. Very nice and trendy, it's where alot of celebrities stay.

So much more to do!
Central Park. Statue of Liberty. Freedom towers. Dinner cruise around manhattan. Brooklyn bridge.
There are lots to check out and fun places everywhere. You will definitely not be bored and I'm sure you will find cool places while you are there!
