What about a man visually makes a woman go crazy?

Q. Things like high heels, skirts and poses in pictures make us go MY LAWD! What type of things do the same for a girl? Like what type of accessories on a guy, body parts or poses in pics. Or anything. What are the top things visually about a man that make you go MY LAWD!

Thanks

A. A great smile. Clean clothes that are in good repair, fit, and aren't too trendy. Standing up straight. Reading a book or a magazine like Scientific American. Kindness toward small children. Hair that doesn't look like he spent more than 5 minutes on it but that doesn't look unkempt either. Eyes that meet mine when he talks to me. A vocabulary relatively free of profanities. Hands that show that he's not afraid of a little work. Clean nails that aren't bitten down and ragged. Some muscles, but not the super buff gym rat look. Decent shoes. Soberness when all his friends are drunk. A throaty chuckle. Relatively straight teeth, but not too straight, like he spent a fortune on caps. Knowing how to hold a fork. A hint of chest hair peeking out of a white button down shirt. A hint of soap that tells me he recently showered. A nice rear end. A freshly shaven face. A good pair of sunglasses. A watch with a leather band. Combing his hair out of his face with his fingers. Drinking bottled water. Rolling his sleeves up to just below his elbows. A slim wallet. Gazing thoughtfully out a window.

What turns me off: Concert tour tee shirts. Baggy pants. Run-down shoes. Trying too hard to be handsome. Being too loud. Being drunk. Constantly being on the cell phone. Wearing a bluetooth. A car that's too sporty. Button down shirts with the top button done or too many buttons undone. Flabbiness. Reading muscle magazines or car magazines. Looking at every woman that passes by. Owning a pit bull. Coffee breath. Cigarette breath. Constant movement. Talking about golf. Complaining about women. Hating cats. Big belt buckles.

are their any french women out their who could give me some beauty secrets?
Q. i love french women, id like to pick up some of their advice.

A. I am not French but have learned a lot about French skin care regimens over the past few months as a consultant for a new company called Votre Vu. Our products, which are produced outside of Paris, were only available in high-end European spas until this past September when Votre Vu launched.

So regarding skin care: most French skin care is natually based and the majority of all the good-for-you ingredients in naturally based lines are grown to peak perfection in France because of the climate, soil, etc. So kind of how Florida is known for their oranges, France produces some of the best botanicals used in skin care. The products are great for your skin. My skin has never felt better since I've been using Votre Vu.
French skin care also has higher % of all the good stuff - products are filled with waxes and fillers.

Also, French women use different creams/moisturizers for different body parts - not all skin is create equal! In America we are just told to use our face cream on our neck, however, the French have special creams for the neck because the skin on our neck is different then the skin on our face. Another area they pay special attention to with special cremes is the bust area. I learned this because Votre Vu offers a neck creme and a bust creme. We are bringing French traditions to American mainstream.

Also, French women eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Did you read the book "French women don't get fat"? It talks a lot about that. But not only does diet effect a women's figure, it can effect her skin and hair.

Don't know if those were the kind of tips you were looking for, but hopefully it helps some!

Merci!
Heather Wolgamott

I also ran into this:
Here are the secrets of French women you can use to help you stand out from the crowd:

1. French women intimately know their body and which styles look good on them. They do not beat themselves up for perceived flaws, but know how to creatively put emphasis on their assets. French women have more personality when it comes to their style - they own their look. So, it's key to establish a unique look that works for you.

2. French women buy a handful of good quality, neutral-colored staples that they can mix and match with each other for maximum wear. They do not "collect" clothing. Clothing is an investment and is meant for a return on their investment. They also know when to purge an item.

3. French women know the power of accessories. They cherish four to five high-end fashion accessories (costume jewelry and scarves) that they wear all the time. They might add one or two new trendy pieces each season and wear them out. They also invest in high quality everyday leather handbags and shoes, keeping their return on investment in mind.

4. French women become friends with a great hair stylist who is skilled at working with their hair type. They get a fuss-free hairstyle and maintain it with great conditioners.

5. French women treat their skin as the treasure it is. Get a facial every month or just give yourself a weekly facial. Maintain, protect and nourish your skin daily. If you have great skin, you radiate and barely need any make-up.

6. French women use make-up as an aid to emphasize their beautiful features, not hide them under layers and layers of coating. The principle applied is: less is more. Your basics include: tinted moisturizer with SPF, a light powder, blush, a great mascara and a lipstick or lip gloss.

7. French women know only too well that you are what you eat, which is why they follow a diet that is rich in seasonal produce, red meat and oily fish - all of which help to keep a figure trim and hair, nails and skin in tip-top condition. To further boost their skin's radiance, French women will also drink plenty of water and, for general well-being, eat a little of what they fancy - including chocolate and a glass of red wine. They relish in the pleasure of small indulgences and do not beat themselves up, like American women. Everything in moderation and smaller portions.

8. French women believe in getting their exercise throughout the day, by walking and biking. The important message here is to not become obsessed about your fitness activities, but pursue them with pleasure. If you hate the stair climber or even going to the gym, find something that gives you enjoyment and not dread. And again, don't beat yourself up if you're not keeping up with all your colleagues latest fitness center stories. It's time to be unique and do what is fun for you! Follow the French on a balanced and time-tested approach to life.

How to get more wear out of the clothes you already own?

Q. without donating/selling/give them away.

(warning long details)
Because I love everything I own and its not the money or "dont have anything to wear" problems in my case. I tends to buy things that exceed a bit over my current lifestyle and end up storing them (not exactly hoarding, because I eventually wear everything and most of the things I buy are classic simple pieces like a pair of black pumps or a simple cocktail dress, not trendy/flashy stuff). I guess Im one of those people who store more than they wear.
Alot of people say women wear only 20% of their wardrobe but that doesnt apply to me, I wear perhaps 90% of my clothes, I just dont have the time/oppunity to wear some of it. Like dressier dresses, evening things, summery shoes because the summer are too short here, nicer shoes and stuff like that because my lifestyle doesnt require them (who would commute to the shopping mall in their formal party heels or sparkly leggings who also live in a rural area, not a city? :S)

So anybody who else have this problem "store more than what they wear"? How to deal with it?
I dont want to throw or donate anything because I LOVE everything. Nothing I buy are expensive (unless it is things I really wear alot like flat knee high boots in cold weather that costed me 150-200£. Party/special/occassion, winter, summer and trendy pieces I tends to buy when there are sales and clearances. Like 50-70% off, get 2 for 1, buy 2 get the other one half the price, off the season etc.) Im a bargain hunter and very picky. I also buy my clothes/shoes after my bills.
Fortunately I dont change in size (only change 1-2 sizes back and forth during SIX years) so alot of my clothes can last me for over a decade.. Im a 24 yo campus student and pay for my own stuff (even treat my family on gift from time to time) so Im not exactly "spoiled" or anything... LOL

and to the jealous-or-whatever-the-ones-are, poor girls/boys. I do HAVE a life, Im studying. Also I DO save, actually one third of my allowances! We have higher taxes rather tuition fees here so i dont need to worry about education fees.
rhino: I wrote; WITHOUT without donating/selling/give them away. (weird example, would you sell your pets if you dont have time to cuddle with it <but take care of it>? :P)

A. I wear most of my closet as well and adore timeless pieces so that I don't have to donate too much every season.

Simply just stop buying. You'll be stuck with the clothes you have and have to wear them more. I adore a great deal but sometimes you just have to tell yourself hey I have enough at home.

Being a major fashion lover this can come off as complicated sometimes but impulse buying and buying JUST for a good deal can been seen as a shopping addiction, or shopaholic. Which is not good mentally or economically.

There are many ways you can make a party dress look casual and casual wear dressy so I suggest learning those kind of tips to make your clothes fit more occasions. I also suggest watching videos that teach you how to transition an outfit you would wear during the day or to work to something suitable for night/"out in the city" wear.

For example, Denim will make anything casual. Just throw a jean jacket with a dress and you've got yourself a nice outfit.

Good Luck.

xoxo
Alice

what are the current trends in clothes shops?
Q. I have a job interview in a clothes shop and was wondering what current fashion trends are.

A. I don't follow women's fashion but I can provide the guys' trends for fall 2012 through summer 2013, or at least how they're predicted to be. This is according to major runway shows in Europe, so trends in American stores or unique shops will vary.

Some general trends: Slim pants/jeans (sometimes skinny), rolled up once or twice, JACKETS, hairstyles that are short on the sides/back and styled on top, accessories like watches and bracelets always make you look more stylish

Fall 2012 has some very light blues and oranges leftover from summer 2012 but they're only thrown in. Mainly, it's getting darker with blacks and grays, occasionally an obscure white or yellow dominated outfit. "A play on fabric" as Armani calls it is trendy, mixing different patterns and fabrics that you wouldn't normally match, as long as they go together in color. Outfits should stay simple and sleek though.

Winter 2012-13 is best described as "dark" and sometimes "tribal" with almost all black, brown and gray on jackets, pants and shoes/belts. Fabric play still revealant: For example, charcoal sweater with leather jacket throw-over.

Spring/summer 2013 should be sleek and include Mediterranean colors not only in just clothes but especially accessories. Like turquoise belts/shoes, bags and shirt accents. "Easter" colors is a good way to put it also. The base colors are blue and green.

What sneakers/casual shoes are trendy right now for young women?

Q. Hi, I'm 20 and I'm looking for some sneakers or casual shoes that are somewhat like sneakers. I plan on wearing them a lot during the fall season. I want to a buy a few pairs. So my question is, what brand or style is hot right now for fall 2007? I know boots and other classy style are in but I'm looking for somewhat comfortable casual sneakers. I hope sneakers is the right word for my question. My definition of a sneaker in this case is a shoe that resembles workout/sports attire but can be worn outside the gym. If any girls out there have some advice, please feel free to comment. :)

A. From my point of view, adidas superstar are ageless...like they are cool every year, every season....
Sth like this,a merge between ballet and sports shoes are really nice and casual http://www.shoes.com/product.asp?p=5031266&variant_id=EC1020958 you could try finding some a bit more colourful

What would be appropriate attire for a middle-aged woman to wear to relative's wedding?
Q. My aunt told me my cousin is engaged and the wedding will likely be late summer or early autumn. I assume I will be invited, but I don't know if it will be formal or casual. I don't own any really "dress-up" clothes. The best thing I have right now is a pair of jeans with no holes or tears and a scrub-type top with butterflies on it. Getting me to dress-up is like getting Peppermint Patty to wear a dress. Any suggestions?

A. Arg - Middle age - That's me and it's tough to go shopping, isn't it? You don't want to wear something too young and trendy and end up looking like a "Real Housewife", yet you don't want to look like an old lady wearing Sag Harbor, either. You also want to wear something that you would wear again. Every woman should have a few good staples in her wardrobe. For example, a little black dress. Once you have one, you'll find yourself wearing it all the time.

You can't go wrong with the LBD:

In modern times what qualities does the Japanese culture think of as beautiful in a woman?
Q. im doing an adaptation of every man with Japanese influences. what would the modern Japanese society say constitutes a beautiful person.im looking for a physical description. i know women like to have larger eyes, even having surgery to get them, and some wear contacts that are light. also who in there society would be an extremely wise and knowledgeable person?

A. Japanese female beauty trends and subcultures:

- Large eyes
- thin and well-projected nose bridge
- prominent chin.
- small face
- bleached white teeth
- Thin body, big beasts, hairless body
- Trendy eyebrow looks
- Healthy look
- Jutting shoulders, angled elbows and hips
- crescent eyebrows
- bleached hair
- makeup enhancing the eyes
- modern (western) hairstyles.
- high heel shoes
- Traditional clothing (kimono) made modern
- Nape of the neck is a erotic part of the body
- Cute appearance through frilly or child-like clothing with small body
- High voice
- Some girls imitate animes with over the top dresses and accessories that sometimes contrast strikingly. (Example: Lolita fashion style)
- sexy fit body (meant to be sexual and sassy intimidation for men)
- Goth styles are popular
- miniskirts
- b-girls (Japanese girls wear ethnic clothes and frizzy hair styles common among African Americans. They also tan their bodies)
- certain youth sub-cultures are aimed at shocking or intimidating portraying sexual power

The Japanese view wisdom and silence as more important than knowledge. There emperor is viewed as very wise and knowledgeable but also discreet in his manner. Men are perceived as more wise or knowledgeable than women. The father is still the head of the house and has the most power.

What are the TOP TEN fashion trends in the USA right now?

Q. I'm from the UK but I like American fashion too :)
A lot of it is quite similar but I was just interested :)

ty x

A. Um, not sure. Right now there are no definite trends. This is because the world is changing. 10 years ago there was no "internet" as we know it today. We were influenced by what we saw on TV or in film. But since the world wide web came into existence, people started to wear stuff they saw just a regular person wearing online. Notice the rise of people on Y!A asking where they could get certain articles of clothing they saw in a picture online? Yeah, things are changing. It's good in some ways, I guess. But a real shame in others. Since one minute what you are wearing is in style but the next you look like a fool. Because people just can agree on what is "in style."

So to list the top ten is basically choosing all the ones people are hanging on to from days gone by. None is really in style or out of style it's just stuff I see people wearing on the street:

1. Skinny jeans (from the Disney shows like High School Musical a couple years back)
2. Black hair. With side swept bangs (from the emo craze in 2006)
3. Head band hair bows. (From the brief "goth" revival in 2005 from the late 90's)
4. Looking like a homeless person. (From 2003's ripped "vintage" jeans)
5. Looking like a hippie - flowy long dresses, head bands, sandals (from 2005's Nicole Richie and those kids from "The Hills" Lauren Conrad and so on)
6. Wearing only black, white, gray, tan, and brown colored clothing. No brignt colors. (from 2008 after the recession hit, dying fabrics is more expensive than just bleaching them or whatever)
7. Tights; like wearing a slinky dress with black tights. (from the early 90's when women would wear skirts to work but had to cover up their legs with stockings to look "professional")
8. Hoodies (from the mid 90's when they were introduced dominantly into kids wear)
9. Ballet flats shoes (from 2005 a revival from the 80's)
10. What ever the hell Lady Gaga is wearing; 80's sun glasses, 80's shoulder pads, 80's cone bras (clearly taken from the 80's)

I find UK fashion far more edgy than here in the US. Like the stuff I saw on your TV show "Skins." Wow! That's trendy! Over hear stuff is so boring. But I find it cool that you find intrest in American fashion. I guess the grass is allways greener on the other side. ;D

What are your thoughts on these Hunter boots?
Q. I really like this color, but I just wanted some feedback. Thanks!

http://www.neimanmarcus.com/p/Hunter-Boot-Original-Gloss-Welly-Boot-Very-Berry-Boots/prod140380030/

A. The Hunter winter boots are quite handy for use during rainy season as well as snowfall. They are largely popular among the fashion conscious men and women as they instantly get noticed. They are available in lots of colours, funky designs and sizes. In places, where snowfall is predominant, the popularity of these boots is on the rise. Previously rain boots were known as the Wellington boots. Made from natural rubber it gives high flexibility and great comfort.

One of the distinctive features of Wellington boots is the presence of gusset that is kept under the buckle for considerable ease of walking and running on rough terrains. People living in countries were there is high rainfall or snowfall, Wellington shoes are widely preferred. This is not all; Hunter Wellington shoes are famous among celebrities as well and have successfully made its mark in todays era. Hunter winter boots are completely waterproof and are made using excellent craftsmanship.

The best advantage of stylish and functional boots from Hunter Wellington is that they can be worn by everyone irrespective of their age. There are many leading brands nowadays that are manufacturing waterproof boots to cater to the needs of people. However, Hunter boots remains a leading brand due to its high quality, excellent designs, and perfect fit as preferred by style conscious people.

This brand is known for manufacturing some of the best footwear since years. Recently, a new line of footwear including the sheepskin, suede, glossy potent and other popular styles has been launched by this brand in collaboration with Jimmy Choo, a designer house. You can find some really outstanding designs for men and women. A perfect combination of classic and modern design has given this new range a classic, contemporary look. Few most popular designs in this collection are the Traditional Gloss and the Regent Savoy.

The traditional Hunter boot as we know is perfect for wearing outdoors and have a rustic charm to it. The new designs are even more appealing and have been received by Hunter fans with great enthusiasm. The original one is the green rubber design that is very comfortable and mainly worn by the landowners to avoid the mud and rain. The Clarendon Neoprene Boot is one of the most popular one since it gives you the best fit and looks very stylish. The classy colours match with every costumes and the fur gives ultimate comfort during the chilling winter. They are comfy and have a Neoprene lining.

The Claredon Boot has vulcanised rubber at the upper part and in the outer sole it has natural rubber. The advantage of the neoprene lining is that it provides warmth and comfort during the snowfall. The foot-bed has cushioned sponge that has multiple layers and it weighs just 1900 grams per pair and should not be worn near machines.

Hunter is a preferred shoe brand in the UK as they are not just trendy and durable but also elegant and functional.

Good Luck.

Where can I find cheap whole sale vendors in Chicago and online?

Q. Hello,
I am starting a new business and I am looking for whole sale vendors who have trendy women's clothing, shoes, assessories, and etc. I am opening my shop in Chicago and I do not have an idea as to where I am going to get the goods that I need for my store. If anyone has suggestions that can direct me to a place where I can buy goods at a resonable whole sale price would GREATLY appreciate your response.
Thank you so much for your time,
Jasmine

A. The Chicago Apparel Center is hosting a Women's and Children's show on June 6 to June 9. There is a list of vendors and their showrooms at www2.mmart.com. If you don't have a mart card yet, bring business cards, a letter on your letterhead describing your business, and business credit references to register for the show. Once you receive your mart card, you will be notified of all future shows. If you don't have credit references, you can prepay for orders with a business credit card.

What are pretty but inexpensive brands of clothing for young adult women?
Q. I have so many old clothes that I want to donate which came from who knows where. Preferably a brand not as mainstream as Forever 21 and H&M, I know of those places. I live in California if that helps at all.

A. Have you ever tried the more "trendy" thrift stores? Sometimes you can find really good deals there. I live in California too. What's popular here is a store called Buffalo Exchange. I don't know what part of California you are in, but in So-cal there is one in Fullerton. And one in Long Beach. Up north, I only know of one in Berkeley. I know there is many more.
Here's their website: http://www.buffaloexchange.com/

There is also a store called La Bomba, but that is only in So-Cal I think.

They have really... vintagey Forever 21 looking, but better clothing. Sometimes they are pricey, but it depends on the item of clothing. Jackets are usually the most expensive things in the store. It is a thrift store though, so everything is gently used. Also, if you have old clothes to get rid of, you can take em to Buffalo Exchange. How it works there is a worker will look through your clothes and determine if they want to buy them from you. They are really picky about clothing, but they will buy your clothes if deemed "fashionable" enough for re-sale. It's a really hipstery place, though. They get a little cocky and will totally judge your style.

Also, have you tried Ross? Sometimes, their clothes are just ugly, but you can also find great cheap jeans there, sometimes cute shoes or tops as well.

What is "smart casual" dress for women at a Christmas party for people in mid-twenties?

Q. It is for a class of physical therapy students in graduate school... to get together, have drinks, and play secret santa. What do you think: black pants or jeans?
Girlfriend getting dragged along here...

A. Black slacks for sure. Dress it up with trendy black shoes and a festive top. For guys, an untucked button-down oxford shirt. For girls, maybe something with a little sparkle.

What are some good shoes for work?
Q. I work in a trendy retail store and am constantly on my feet. I'm not allowed to wear any athletic shoe or sandals. My feet hurt after work and I think it's time I get some good shoes. I have heard Toms are good. I don't want to spend anymore that $50. I am a 17 year old girl. I need trendy but most importantly comfy! Thankyou! :)

A. You get what you pay for. I also work retail, and have learned that a good shoe is so worth the money. I live in my J.Crew cece ballet flats. Personally, I would avoid TOMS, especially if your store is higher end or trendy. They just aren't very professional or cute IMO.

What type of shoes would you wear with a cotton purple dress?

Q. I have a purple dress with black stripes, and it is short and cute. It's kind of like a t-shirt dress as its cotton, but it is sleeveless....I was wondering what kind of shoes would you wear with it?

A. You could wear silver gladiator sandals with it, they're trendy.

Nothing too fancy, like high heels.

What style of shoes to wear with skinny jeans when I have big feet?
Q. I love wearing pointy toed shoes for work which is fine as I wear corporate pants and my feet don't look as massive when I wear them like that but I like wearing skinny jeans too, what style of shoes would look okay when I have big feet with the skinny jeans? Not thongs/flip flops though..

A. Flats will make your feet look longer, so they aren't the best choice. Apply the same concept that you use with dress pants to your casual pants: A higher heel will visually shorten the foot. Wedge heels are big this spring and summer and cool canvas and fabric wedges come in a rainbow of colors and prints. You can get them from ultra high four inches to more casual lower heeled versions. Here are a couple of options that will work: http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/95056030-glynis/37 is a nice lower heeled wedge. http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/93976140-stralsund/46 these are a bit dressier and will also work with summer skirts and sun dresses. http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/93991500-celenia/32 a basic canvas wedge like this can go with almost everything. http://www.callitspring.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/93522480-stolarik/53 this is a sky high floral wedge that's very trendy and this canvas one: http://www.callitspring.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/94812367-marceli/17 has a very different shape to the heel part of the wedge. There's lots of wedges in stores, all you need to do is find the ones you like the best.

What kind of shoes to wear to cold, outdoor wedding?

Q. I will be traveling to Washington state for a fall beach wedding, which will probably be pretty windy and cold so sandals are out. It's not a super fancy affair, somewhere between casual and dressy (like nice sweater, skirt or dressy jeans). But anyway, I'm not really sure what kind of shoes to wear because of the cold, the sand and trying to look nice. Any ideas?

What makes a guy hot?

Q. This one is for the girls.
I have always been told buy girls (mainly my girlfriend) that i am "hot". I want to know what physical traits make guys attractive?

Also i have always wondered why girls like guys butts and what makes a good butt on a guy?

A. The answer to this question varies. I will give you what I think. This may not be true for other girls.

FOR PERSONALITY:
-be confident in yourself. you gotta love yourself before you love others
-be nice and try to be funny but no dumb jokes youll end up embarrassing yourself
-dont try too hard to be cool, its actually not cool
-say something or do something innocent once in a while. hold the door for the elderly, show up with a flower in front of your crush, tell them how much you care. it really warms the heart.

FOR LOOKS:
-hair: if you have longer hair, thats okay just dont let it get shaggy or too long. if you have shorter hair, you can spike up the front like this:
http://hairstyles-galaxy.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Trendy-men-hairstyle-with-cool-spiky-bang-image.jpg
but whatever you do, DO NOT have hair that sticks up in the back like this:
http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8406/8752060668_297b098911_m.jpg
it looks really gross.
-clothing: don't go emo. personally, i dont find that a bit attractive. nor do i like saggy jeans or form fitting jeans. avoid sweatpants. wear normal jeans and name brand t-shirts and sweatshirts, athletic shorts are okay too. spirit wear is always okay.
-dont imitate specifically one person just because they are popular. go with both the trends and your own tastes.
-sanitation: look healthy and clean. take good care of yourself. no sleep in your eyes, boogers, chapped lips, or anything else that has the possibility of making you unattractive and gross.
-shoes: nike running shoes always work. try to pick colors that dont stand out too much, like black, navy, and grey. but if you are a dynamic person that likes to stand out, then go ahead pick neon yellow shoes. you can also wear vans and sperrys. no crocs or other silly shoes. for socks, nike elites or regular ankle socks.
-body: you probably think that girls go for the guys with the hugest six packs. yes they are attractive but you dont have to have them to be attractive. skinny guys are just fine also. if you are chubby or any fatter than that, i suggest working out. just dont have abs that are any bigger than abercrombie and fitch models' or make you look like your on steroids. about butts, i dont think they really factor into your hotness as long as it is not fatty.

what are the trendy shoe styles this year?

Q. I'm starting a business selling shoes but I need to know which are the most trendy styles for women this year. I don't want to buy a bunch of shoes that will not sell. I know that really high heels are not so in, but what about wedges or slip-ons? Please let me know your suggestions,

Thanks!

A. Well for teens, like myself you should try these:

* Flats - everyone loves them even adults.

* Converse or Vans. They are very in.

* my personal favorite shoes are harajuki, it's hard to spell. But they are proably the most expensive sneakers out there. The style of them is japanese harajuki obviously and they have a lot of high top and bright colors.

But the MUST haves are pretty much flats and vans. Guys also wear vans.

I'm looking for wholesale suppliers for women clothing?

Q. Looking for wholesale supplier that has good quality material and very trendy and fashionable. I'm looking for clothes and shoes to sale on my online store catering to women ages 21 to 30. I'm looking for high fashion wear. Can anybody please help with any information. Thank you.

A. Check out sellerfly.com. I use them for video games but I've seen their clothing suppliers and they sell tons of women's designer clothes, handbags, and jewelry.

Starting clothing business.?
Q. hello everyone, please i would love to know places in the UK and America were I can get trendy cloths and shoes for young people and adult at wholesale prices?
and what are the pros and cons of starting a business like this?
thanks.

A. .. Ok..
Depends on your location first.. (High traffic location is a must for clothing business)..
what will be your specialty ?? adult / females/ males/ or everything ??.. it will cost you alot much if you get everything at once as a start.. and you would not have the nice variety for each devision you want ..
If you are looking to sell Adult and young people, clothes and Shoes.... you are looking for $70,000.00 at least to make a decent start, and decent startup push profit.. or customers base..

If you look for specialty first , as women clothes, or men, or kids, it would be better to concentrate and make good name for your start, with less money damage if it turns out to be something else. plus the rest of the other $75,000 you would save for back-up plan, advertisment, etc....

there is many places.. yet the quality, and the shipping prices will make the difference..

what you will need to think before start :-
1- Location, Location, Location.............. high traffic with $5,000.00 better than away location with $1,000.00 rent, etc...
2- what will be your basic main customers ?? Young adults?? teens ?? working women ?? etc.....
3- You look for everything to have at once is very bad for your budget, (Except if you have at least $150,000.00 ) yes i'm serious..
You can start small (Not actually small) with $30,000 and you specified only with women trendy clothes you will have a decent collection which can cover a store of (3000 feet / 1000 Meters)..

Yet there is plenty of other factors as well.. and there is seasonal items and clothes, etc......

Need any help, will be more than glad.. Actually we have now pallets of (100pcs- 500pcs each) at a decent prices, as we are wholesalers and stores.. and we need to rennovate our stock each campaign (2months)..

so contact me if you are interested and will send you some photo's and site access,,.. or if you only have additional questions..
Good luck, and have a great day ..

What types of footwear looks well with an abaya in a school setting?

Q. For those who're wondering: The abaya is a huge long length dress like a cloak that covers the whole body including arms and legs. They are made out of silk/cotton and worn over Muslim womens' normal dresses.

Now sneakers/runnign shoes don't look at all good with an abaya, so what would do?

A. Hi :)

with an abaya, focus on the color.. If your Abaya is black you can wear black shoes or funky colors that match the scarf, the purse and your accessories

as to what shoes.. during the summer/ warm days :

- Flats (so cute with the abaya)

- Flip flops.. just chose a decent model, I hate it when girls come to the university with beach slippers and call that flip flops.. or any flat open sandals..
Go crazy with the nail polish color and match to the accessories ;) . Revlon and may other brands offer those polishes that you put on and take off by peeling them. Quick and easy
- If you're not afraid of high heels, they can be very feminine especially with a black abaya.. They take it to a hole new level.
- Sneakers are fine but I I don't like them on abaya. I think they can do with a funky outfit, like a colored scarf, and a long sweater and pants (in a neutral color then you match the sneakers to the scarf for example.

For cold days, it gets harder because the abaya is especially designed for the desert and hot weather.. If you insist on wearing the abaya, chose a thick material to match the winter shoes. Wear them with ankle boots (very trendy this fall)

All the best honey ;) XoxO

What should one wear to a job interview to work at a 5 star hotel?
Q. My brother got a call for a job interview and he said they told him to dress appropriately as if he was to work for the hotel. He said he's gonna wear part of his tuxedo, like the white shirt, tie, black vest, slacks, and dress shoes. I thought it was a little weird that he's gonna wear a black vest, it makes it too fancy. But maybe that's how it should be. Do you think it's good or what do you recommend?

A. While men may have less variety when it comes to workplace attire, they also are subjected to more stringent definitions of what is appropriate for the office. When it comes to deciding what to wear on an important interview, in almost every situation the more conservative the suit, the better the choice. Very few men can wear suits right off the rack, and you should always take your suit to a tailor to ensure that it fits you properly before wearing it on an interview.

Navy Blue
Choose a two piece, solid colored, matched suit constructed from wool or a wool blend for your interview. Navy blue is a dark blue color. Do not wear a powder blue suit or a bright blue suit, or try to match your jacket with pants that are another color. Buy your pants and jacket together, so that you can ensure that they are exactly the same shade of navy blue. Unless you are interviewing for a job in a creative field such as graphic design, you should choose a jacket with two or three buttons. Four buttons may look too trendy and adding a vest looks ostentatious.

Charcoal Grey
Charcoal grey is a dark grey color. For men, lighter colored neutrals such as dove grey and tan are seen as too informal for a job interview. Traditionally, black suits are seen as too flashy. Even though other men in the office may be wearing these colors, you need to wait until you are actually hired before you start experimenting with your look. At an interview, you want to be remembered for your qualifications and what you say, not how you look.

What to Wear with Your Suit
Choose a full-sleeve, button up shirt in white or light blue, even if it is summer. Wear a conservative silk tie that is no less than 3 1/4 inches wide. According to Career Builder, image consultants recommend a red tie for a navy blue suit or a burgundy tie for a grey suit. If you want to wear a tie with a pattern, choose a subtle pattern. Do not wear a tie with cartoon characters on it. Wear black socks that cover your ankles, and black leather shoes with a matching belt. Carry a briefcase or portfolio with you instead of a backpack or loose papers, and remove any jewelry other than a wedding ring or watch.

Where do you buy trendy juniors clothing for tall, athletic girls?

Q. Height is 5'11", Shoe size is 11, Weight is 140-145, Thighs are strong & muscular (hard to find skinny jeans). Inseam is 35 inches. Tiny waist.

Where might a teen go for clothing with this build?

A. I visited Forever 21 for the first time this past weekend; at the location I went to, they had a large sale room organized by small, medium, and large sizes (I'm sure you can find large sizes around the store as well). The large sizes were not plus sizes per se, but were made for a taller, larger built girl. Their clothes are very cute and inexpensive; good luck shopping! <3

i want to open a shoe store, how would i find reputable wholesalers? i would like to sell trendy junior shoes?
Q. I am looking for information about magazines or websites where i can find reputable wholesalers of junior type shoes. i'm looking for items that are stylish and trendy, how would i go about finding wholesalers for this type of merchandise?

A. You'll find all the shoes you require at alibaba. Compare wholesalers , terms and merchandise

What can of pants can I wear to a wedding?
Q. I'm going to a wedding and as everyone know you have to dress fancy. I am not going to wear a dress! I am looking for fancy pants but I also want them to be a little rockish. I also want them not to cost much. Please help!. Put the store and type of pants!

A. I like your style! Since you want a look that's a little edgy yet still elegant, I would suggest going in one of two ways: 1) silk pants or 2) jumpsuit.

1) If you're super daring, I would suggest going for silk pants. Pair them with a grey top, a black blazer, strappy high heeled sandals and a silver necklace for evening and a light tank, a soft blazer, nude pumps and a gold necklace for day-time:

What are the most popular teen stores right now?

Q. I'm 14 and I need a new wardrobe! I have no style :( What stores are really popular? What types of clothing are "in"? I have about $300 of birthday money to spend. Thanks everybody!!!!!

A. Definitely forever21 for cheap clothes and on trend stuff.
Wetseal is pretty cheap and similar to forever21, and so is Love Culture.
Try nordstrom (rack) for great quality pieces. If you go to a regular nordstrom, though, the stuff is so expensive :o
Free People and Brandy Melville are super popular right now (and they have a lot of "in" stuff), but both are a bit pricier than your typical mall store.
If you are willing to wear second hand clothes, try Plato's Closet - its like a thrift store but a bit more expensive because it only carries brand name clothes that are in trend right now. Its still way cheaper than the original prices even though its more expensive that somewhere like Goodwill or a consignment shop.
Tilly's, Francesca's, Kohl's, Macy's, Charlotte Russe, Aeropostale, delias, Old Navy or Gap, Garage (♥), and Zara are some other places to try.Target has everything - makeup, accessories, school supplies, and clothes so I would recommend at least checking that out. And the prices are really good too!

Clothing trends are:
Jumpers/pullovers are supposedly going to be in for winter, paired with jeans or leggings.
Cardigans are always great :D
Oxblood/burgundy/maroon is the color of this fall/winter so pick up some stuff in that color for this school year. I have a pair of jeans in this color that I love. So soft, and the shade is perfect! http://www.joefresh.com/en/product/corduroy-jean-5
Tribal prints were in for summer and spring, but I think as we transition into fall not many people are going to be wearing tribal prints any more. Same with colored jeans and neon pants.
Flannel and plaid shirts are definitely in. Just button downs in general.
Flowy tops are trendy right now, something like this: http://www.ae.com/web/browse/product.jsp?productId=2371_9891_131 I would pair this with a scarf and skinny jeans and any type of shoe as an outfit :D
Peter pan collared tops were in this summer, not sure if they will stay for the whole school year.
Patterned, like floral or polka dotted jeans, are trendy right now. You can get really cute ones at AE.
BLAZERS! Especially for the chilly days in fall, I would get a fitted blazer for school.
Definitely combat boots and riding boots. Furry slippers (like ugg slippers) were in last winter, not sure about 2012. These are the combat boots I really want, but none of the colors are in my size >.< http://www.urbanog.com/Lug-11-Military-Lace-Up-Mid-Calf-Boot_174_15411.html

what are the current trends in clothes shops?

What to wear at the office with a pinstripe suit?

Q. I like dark grey suits with white vertical pinstripes for business wear. I have also worn solid dark blue ones for variety, but I like grey ones better. White broadcloth shirts are most formal, but there may be alternatives that are still sober and dignified. What colors and patterns of shirts and ties do you suggest for my formal business look? How about shoes? For bonus points, what brands and models of watches would you wear with such a business ensemble? It seems that magazines have recommended many tres gauche combos, and celebrities have worn many tasteless ones, so people are confused about proper dress now. Some people who have answered questions in this category have good taste, but some do not.
Doesn't anyone know something about proper dress for business? Surely someone works in a proper and conservative office as I have. I see some people recommending garish and tasteless ensembles, somewhat along the lines of stuff Woody Allen once wore to be ridiculous, but now, other celebrities wear worse stuff and don't know or don't care if it is tasteless.
I want to see what people say about watches. For business, Simple is best, so "Cellinis' are the Rolexes proper to wear with suits. I saw one recently for $3650. My basic dress watches by Cartier, Vacheron Constantin and Patek Philippe cost $10,700 to $15,000 now. I have 2 Rolex sports watches. The gold bracelet "OP Datejust" cost $13,150 in 1994. My Breguet "Marine" cost $29,500. The most complicated Rolex is a "Cosmograph Daytona" chronograph. I think a new on in gold costs $19,450. The ultimate single complication is chimes, e.g, a $507,000 Vacheron Constantin "30010" platinum skeleton minute repeater. I have written seeral books about watches. I am working on the 4th edition of "THE COSTLIEST WATCH BRANDS". Rolex places 41st now. In earlier editions, it was 18th to 24th. Breguet was costliest with Patek philippe 2nd, Vacheron constantin 3rd and A. Lange & Sohne 4th. A new brand Richard Mille wins now.
My coloring shows my 2 Cherokee grandmothers, i.e black hair with red highlights (some grey around the ears since age 17), ruddy bronze tanned skin plus brown eyes. when i was age 10, we went to a Cherokee village at the foot of the Smoky mountains. The Indians nearly kept me. Dad was amused. They didn't notice my siblings who have olive skins and medium brown hair. I look Cherokee, but they do not.

A. *laugh*

Ok.. first off, dark grey and white is pretty neutral as it can get. You could pretty much go for most colours, but I'd suggest lighter colours rather than the medim>dark colors. Why? because medium shades might be too intense against the contrast of the dark suit, and dark colored shirts will blend in too much... might make you look too .. dull.

Now, it depends on your skintone what colors look best on you. If you're light skinned, there are certain shades that will bring out your coloring, versus if you were dark or olive skinned. Without your notes on coloring, I can't really suggest any colours or any shades of colors... (example: yellows might make olive skin look too strange and dull, but the light blues/greens will bring olive skintones out) That's not a hard and fast rule because a very pale shade of yellow might look stunning against you, just not a green-yellow or a blue-yellow.. it's all relative in how the light hits your skin and bounces off the suit.

As for shirts/ties.. the general rule is that if your shirt is busy or bright, go for a neutral tie.

example: pinstriped suit, a light green shirt with faint white checks in it (not plaid..please), means you wear a tie that's a light grey/silver to pick up the white in the pinstripe, or even have a tie that's a mix of greens and silvers or a pattern to really bring out the shirt. You can go kind of crazy in terms of slick patterns with the ties (checks, stripes, light dots), but nothing like saxophones or weird babies on the front please... Spend up to about $100/tie, in a neutral silver or offsilver colour and it'll go with pretty much any shirt/suit combo.

As for shoes, if you have cash to blow, go to a high end store like Holt Renfrew in Toronto (depending on where you are, ask a woman..) and get a black and a brown pair of shoes, in real leather that are comfortable, and the same height (so that your pants will hang at the same height each time)

THen you'll need to get your pinstriped suit tailored to fit you perfectly, and to get the tailor to put a proper break in your pants so that they sit well over your new shoes. I like the Gucci loafers for men... if you can't afford high end, go to a place like a department store, or Aldos, or any place that sells trendy but decently done shoes.

The best watch? Rolex of course. Then Gucci or Prada. If you can't afford that, you could even go to Walmart and pick out a gorgeous smoked-grey face watch with a clean, silver band that would look great with your grey pinstriped suit. You can also try Fossil watches for a lower-end alternative that will last almost forever.

Women where do you get your trendy but affordable clothes?

Q. any good web sites with cute trendy clothes, shoes, that wont burn a whole in your pockets~

A. For must have on A budget,E-bay, and craigs list.

How to look, dress more girly?
Q. I am so totaly girly on the inside, i love skirts, dresses, shorts, blouses etc. And i definatly love heels and wedges. I wear wedges to school. And i guess i look alot girly but i wantt to look even more.

A. NOTE: This is a really long article. I am posting the Clothes and Style section here but there is much, much more at the source below, including Grooming, Make-up & Health , Behavior, Tips, Warnings, and Things You'll Need!

Clothes & Style

1 Have a sense of style. Being fashionable is important. Note that this does not necessarily mean "trendy". Try to read more fashion magazines to learn what kinds of clothing go well together. Try teen magazines like Teen Vogue and Seventeen for starters, and if you want to, move on to adult fashion magazines like Elle and In Style. Try mixing and matching the clothes in your closet. The results may not always be great, but you're bound to discover new and cute combinations. Be sure to Have Your Own Style have your own style, because it's not right to wear something that just isn't you. It's often better to have a basic personal style than to always be chasing the latest "fad" look. You could waste hundreds of dollars on clothes just for them to go out of style a few weeks later. When buying clothes to set up your wardrobe, buy the girly girl basics.

2 Slowly add special pieces to to your wardrobe that will accentuate your look. Pink is a typical girl color, but don't shy away from blacks and blues, as they can also look very cute! Your wardrobe should contain:
Light-wash and dark-wash denim skirts
Light-wash and dark-wash shorts
At least one pair of dark-wash skinny jeans.
Six plain tank-tops in the colors: pink, peach, blue, light green, lavender, and white. These will be good for layering or a weekend casual look when paired with shorts or jeans.
Cute panties. (No one will see them, of course. But they will make you feel cute, nonetheless.)
At least three comfortable pairs of shoes: one pair of workout sneakers (a girly girl is never to be seen outside the gym with sneakers), and a couple of pairs of cute shoes (heels, moccasins, flats, sandals, take your pick). Ultimately, a girly girl can never have too many shoes!
Three cute dresses. When shopping for dresses, remember: short or tight, chose only one. Do not pair them both. Go for neutral colors that can be matched with other things for fancy occasions, but also buy colorful and cute sundresses for the summer time!
Use mostly pastel colors, but neutrals go with everything. Have enough clothes in both types of colors to mix and match.
Wear clothing that fits. Don't wear low cut jeans if you don't feel comfortable, but make sure your jeans fit you and are not tight or baggy. A belt is okay, but the fit says it all. Try on lots of brands, styles, cuts, and sizes. Not every size jean will fit the same, depending on the brand. The same goes with shirts. Not tight, not baggy. If your shirt is so tight you can see your bra or you have trouble getting your shirt off of your back, then it's too tight. To see if the shirt is too small, raise your arms up. If your stomach shows when you do this, then the shirt is excessively short! Things like camisoles are supposed to fit tight however.
Remember, you don't have to buy brand name clothing. Brands are just status symbols designed to make people feel superior. Don't get caught up in that behavior, because you really don't have to spend a lot of money to be girly. Just make sure you choose clothing very carefully, so that you don't waste money. On the other hand, if you like something that is affordable and it's a brand name, don't avoid buying it just because you don't want to buy brand names.

3 Good stores to buy girly clothes are:
Forever 21 (trendy clothes and accessories for women and men)
Rue 21 (casual apparel for both women and men)
Wet Seal (moderately priced clothes and accessories for young women)
Charlotte Russe (clothing and accessories for teenage girls and young women)
Alloy (clothes for teens and college students)
Dillard's (a wide variety of clothes for women and men)
Ardene (affordable clothing for young women)
Justice (clothes and lifestyle products for young girls)
Victoria's Secret (fashionable outer and under wear for women)
Aeropostale (cute, trendy clothing for teenagers and both men and women)
Hollister (cute, more sporty look for teen girls and guys)
Abercrombie and Fitch (fashionable look for young men and women)
Delia's (cute clothes for girls and teen girls)

I have big feet. How am I to find a pair of descent, good-looking shoes with feet as big as mine??

Q. It's like this, I go to a shoe store & all of he shoes there are so trendy and everything. So, for feet as big as mine, I cant find one that I'm satisfied with. I wear sport shoes to school. And that ain't comfortable.

A. YOU DIDN'T SAY WHAT SIZE AND IT'S NOT NECESSARY FOR ME TO KNOW. GO ONLINE AND TRY MASON SHOES, MORDSTROM'S, CLOUD CLIMBERS, LANE BRYANT AND FOR DISCOUNT SHOES AND BOOTS TRY JESSICA LONDON. EACH COMPANY LISTED HAS CATALOGS ONLINE AND IN PAPER. THE SIZES RANGE FROM NARROW TO EXTRA WIDE AND THEY HAVE YOUNG UP TO DATE SELECTIONS FOR THE MOST PART. THERE ARE SOME SPECIALTY SHOE STORES OUT HERE TOO. JUST BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF AND SURF THE NET. TRY "LARGE SIZE SHOES FOR WOMEN" FOR INITIAL WEB SEARCH AND TAKE IT FROM THERE.

How do you construct perfect everyday outfits?
Q. they don't have to seem flawless like you worked on it for hours, but seem like you put an effort. How do seem people do it? How do you put your summer/spring outfits together? What do they usually consist of? What colors do you use? Clothing stuff (cardigans, blazers, stuff like that).
How old are you and what's your fashion sense (preppy, trendy, emo, etc)

A. I would describe my fashion as artsy and free-spirited. For spring, I like white and baby blue, along with more spring-ish colors like yellow and orange. Here is my shopping checklist:

CLOTHES
-Cardigans: have at least two; one short and one long. You can put them over dresses to make them more casual, but they are an easy way to clean up a sloppy outfit.
-Skirts: always have at least one. You never know what fancy event will pop up last minute. I like floral ones for spring.
-Dresses: go by the skirt rule. Casual dresses can be nice for school and stuff.
-T-shirts: Have at least two tees. Go for one graphic, one plain, loose one that you can use to layer.
-Sweaters: Always have a pullover sweater. Always. They go with everything. Slouchy sweaters are great for a spring effortless look.
-Tanks: Have tight tanks for layering and loose tanks to go under sweaters.
-Sweatshirts: at least two. Some days you just need a sweatshirt.
-Jeans: Three-five pairs. Don't wear uncomfortable jeans. They are the worst thing EVER. Even if they are trendy, don't wear them. Personally, I like skinny jeans, but I have the worst time finding them because I have large feet and issues with jeans getting over my feet. haha...
-Shorts: Three-five pairs. Abide by the jean rule. Also, short-shorts are not that great. They're tricky to wear, because you can't wear tops that are too short or too long.
-Tops: get some basic shirts.

SHOES:
-flats
-sneakers
-sandals
-flip-flops

ACCESSORIES
-Scarves (I have many patterns and colors to work with)
-Necklaces (I wear layers and layers of them. In my opinion, outfits look better with necklaces and other jewelry, because the fine details draw attention to the clothing.)
-Bracelets (Again, with the layering thing ^)
