Where can i find stylish womans shoes in a size 12?

Q. i actually wear a 12.5 but can fit a size twelve, i am 22 and like to dress girly so i like trendy boots and heels (no converse or vans i have a closet full of these brands) i also don't want shoes that my granmother would wear to church. 12 is the absolute smallest I can fit, there is no way i could "squeeze in" to an eleven. please don't list a company unless you're SURE they carry size 12. (alot of places advertise extended sizes but only go up to 11) thank you for your suggestions!!!

A. Size 11 here! barefoot tess has lot of trendy shoes and carry extended sizes for brands like jeffrey campbell and dolce vita . Unfortunately they don't have a lot of 12.5 shoes but they have some really cute size 12's and 13's. Shoes.com carries some nice things too.

Does anyone know where to find women's shoes that go up to size 12?
Q. Hi!
I am 6'1 and have a really hard time finding flats or boots in my size that aren't too high heeled or terribly drab.

Does anyone know of some good sites or stores to find some trendy shoes in a size 12 (besides Zappos)?

Thanks!

A. You are going to love Tall Clothing Mall. They find trendy large shoes and put them in categories from all the top online shoes.

Where to find dressy but trendy clothes?

Q. I'm a seventeen year-old girl. I need to find a white button up shirt, black pants (or a knee length skirt) and black shoes (heels or flats.) But I want them to be stylish. Where can I buy clothes like that without look like a middle aged woman? Thanks in advance!

A. Well I assume you're in the US, and I don't know if you have these stores there... but here in the UK, Next and Burton do quite nice clothes.

Could you make me an outfit please? (from River Island) I live in the UK?
Q. Im wanting a new style and I would like help from people on here, because whenever I try and make an outfit it seems to just not match or look boring.

So, this is the site: www.riverisland.com

Just find top, jeans, shoes, scarf, and accsessories and maybe a jacket and just put the links in order of top to bottom.

The style Im looking for is casual trendy, a bit indie and not too girly (I prefer jeans and flat shoes)

I know Its alot to ask, but it would be a big favour if you guys could pick out a few outfits for me and whoever makes the best outfit they will deffo get best answer!

So thanks in advance

Where to buy designer clothes in English stores?

Q. I know of Harvey Nichols, but which other shops sell expensive handbags (YSL, Chloe, Marc Jacobs etc), shoes (Jimmy Choo, Laboutin and Manalos), and generally expensive clothes and accessories?

Ideally in locations such as Sheffield, Nottingham, Leeds, Lincoln or London.

Thanks for you help! x

A. Hey ;)

In Central London the actual Chloe shop is there in Sloane Street. Also in London you sometimes find their range in Harrod's (Brompton Road, Knightsbridge) and Selfridges (in Oxford Street). You can also buy from there online at http://www.net-a-porter.com/Shop/Designers/Chloe. It doesn't look like they offically sell anywhere else apart from in Harvey Nichols in Leeds (which you obviously already know).

Jimmy Choo also sell their range in their shop in London, also in Selfridges and Harrod's.

Your best bet, if you can be bothered to travel all that way, is to go to London and go in Selfridges or Harrod's or Harvey Nichols..

GAH http://bluefly.com/ do sell some really nice dresses but they don't ship to the UK :[ so that's not much help..

Are suspenders preppy?
Q. I want a preppy style this year so I was thinking a white button down with a collar, black suspenders and leggings, is that preppy? Just to be clear on what I mean by preppy is stuff like
-Blazers
-Vests
-Cardigans
-Trench coats
-Cape coats
-Pea coats
-Slouch boots
-Riding botts
-Cable knit sweaters
-White button downs
-Oxford shirts
-Oxford shoes
-Flats
-Ties
-Knee high socks
-Pencil skirts
-Blouses
-Plaid
-Collar shirts
-Anchor necklace
-Pearls
-Perfect buns
-Suspenders (maybe? Are they preppy?)

A. I think suspenders are preppy as long as you style them that way. For example, if you wear it with a black lace blouse and a gothic style frilly skirt with black suspenders, it can come off more 'goth', etc.

Oh and pencil skirts aren't that preppy, they're more on the 'trendy' side. I'd go with pleated skirts instead.

I think a pair of white suspenders with a light pink & white gingham top would look cute with light wash jeans and some oxfords.

For the outfit I described... I own this top from Nordstrom's BP, it's so cute
In the 'Coral Ivory' Shade, but the mint green is cute as well
http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/living-doll-gingham-shirt-juniors/3319451?origin=category&contextualcategoryid=0&fashionColor=Mint+Ivory&resultback=4332
with some plain white suspenders:
http://www.hottopic.com/hottopic/Accessories/BandanasScarvesSuspenders//White+Suspenders-288087.jsp
light wash skinny jeans
http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?BR=f21&Category=btms_jeans&ProductID=2000040812&VariantID=
oxfords:
http://www.aldoshoes.com/us/women/shoes/moccasins-loafers/90899987-wurl/28

And some pleated skirts:

http://www.forever21.com/Product/Product.aspx?BR=f21&Category=btms_skirts&ProductID=2015037050&VariantID=

I recommend brands like Lilliy Pulitzer, if you look in the dictionary for 'preppy' you'll probably find her clothing line in the definition.
http://www.lillypulitzer.com/category/Dresses/Daytime/pc/38/39.uts

And then stores like J. Crew (: It can get expensive, so I like shopping in their sale rack.
This girl on Youtube has a preppy sense of style and shows some of her outfits
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2gBllU_E5E&feature=channel&list=UL:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1aMTE-iCFQ&feature=plcp

Make sure your plaid shirts are simple like the one I linked you! Don't wear ones with wacky color combinations like purple+green+yellow.

And here's an awesome tutorial for the 'perfect bun' you mentioned, but it has a fun twist with some braids into it (:

What sneakers/casual shoes are trendy right now for young women?
Q. Hi, I'm 20 and I'm looking for some sneakers or casual shoes that are somewhat like sneakers. I plan on wearing them a lot during the fall season. I want to a buy a few pairs. So my question is, what brand or style is hot right now for fall 2007? I know boots and other classy style are in but I'm looking for somewhat comfortable casual sneakers. I hope sneakers is the right word for my question. My definition of a sneaker in this case is a shoe that resembles workout/sports attire but can be worn outside the gym. If any girls out there have some advice, please feel free to comment. :)

A. From my point of view, adidas superstar are ageless...like they are cool every year, every season....
Sth like this,a merge between ballet and sports shoes are really nice and casual http://www.shoes.com/product.asp?p=5031266&variant_id=EC1020958 you could try finding some a bit more colourful

How large does women's clothing run in Japan?

Q. I'm going to Japan in a few weeks and I'd like to do some clothes shopping while I'm there. I'd like to go to the young, trendy shops, but I don't know if they'll have clothes that fit. I'm a size 8-10, and 5"7 with a C cup; will I be able to find clothes at trendy Japanese shops, or even at Japanese department stores (that aren't American labels, I didn't go all the way to Japan for that)? Or will I have to go specifically to a plus size place, which would hurt my ego since I've never done that in the US and which probably wouldn't have a great selection. Also, I wear a 7 1/2 shoe size, I should be able to find shoes easily, right?

A. shoes- you'd be a size 24.5 or 25 (its in centimeters)
and thats the biggest size that most shops make shoes in...its ridiculous!! whenever i go, im always at the "big shoes" corner since im also a 7.5 too.
clothing- ok, im a size 2 or 4, s or m at the abercrombie here. but over there, i once did not fit into an XL pair of pants. im a size 9 there (9 is the standard in Japan. the next is size 11, one size smaller is a 7, and those are the only 3 sizes they usually have a department stores) for tops. as for bottoms, lets just say that the XL pair was tiny. i just forget about the pants when i go there. plus, they dont have the best jeans anyway. the proportion just does not fit. its mostly their tops.
they also have the cutest bras. they will have sizes for everyone. theyre extremely lacy and colorful.
btw...
dont feel bad if some of the clothes run in only small sizes. if you look at them, japanese people all have the same body type. half of the stuff i try on usually do not fit right. (too short, too small, too thin)
and they make the cutest shoes and theyre really easy to walk in since japanese people walk everywhere.
and im 5'5 if that helps.

what to get:
shoes
bags (wallets too)
accessories- rings, necklaces, watches, etc.
tops
socks & bras (usually sold in the same store)
keychains
sun dresses

what not to get:
pants
formal dresses (800 dollars ea)

what to try:
they have amazing crepes in harajuku (are you going there?)
spagetti
pet clothing

hope this helps
if you want me to add stuff, just write it in your question description and i'll check back

Question for women with wide feet?
Q. I have wide feet (like a duck, much wider across the toes than at the heel) and thick ankles. Can someone give me the name of a fashionable store (other than Naturalizer, shop there a lot) that I can get a nice, "non-grandma", pair of shoes. I need some more variety.

A. I have Fred Flinstone feet, as a friend so delicately puts it, and I usually have pretty good luck at PayLess Shoes. They have trendy shoes in larger sizes, as well as in wide width. Also, if you don't mind internet shopping, try the following for a decent selection of shoes:

www.roamans.com

would you consider these shoes preppy or trendy?

Q. http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=27845635&parentid=SALE_W_SHOES

A. These shoes would be considered Preppy because it has the whole moccasin look but with the plaid IT could be a trend for layering, but now a days people like to were pleather, boots, wedges and alot of embelishments.

What do you think of these shoes?

I feel very uninspired. I want something comfy but trendy.. help?
constructive feedback?

A. Gurl these shoes are cute, but hardly trendy for that price! You will just be paying for the name. The theives!

Stylish but not Trendy Casual Shoes for Men?

Q. I am a man looking for a different type of shoe. I have a pair of Jordan High tops and White Nike Low tops for casual wear. I hate when people jump on the bandwagon for fashion and getting something just because everyone else has it. For example, in my high school, Vans Authentic shoes and Sperry boating shoes (Boys & Girls) are very popular. I really like the Vans, but everybody has them and I refuse to buy them.

It would be nice if people could leave some suggestions on some shoes that are stylish and attractive (FOR MEN) but not really trendy. I'm sure that it will be mostly women that answer this question, so this is the question for the women. What do you think looks attractive on men?

Also, I am in high school. I'm an upperclassmen. Thanks! :)

A. Confidence looks attractive.

As far as footwear: loafers, oxfords/brogues, sneakers, tennis/running shoes, sandals, boots, boat shoes (Sperry's are a classic, not a trend. My grandfather has lived in them [and moccasins] for as long as I have been alive), moccasins, etc.

First time buying Nike/Converse? Help me out?
Q. So my mom says I need new sneakers, and I was thinking these for athletics: http://www.finishline.com/store/catalog/product.jsp?productId=prod638558&productId=prod637622&productId=prod638558&pageTitle=Women%27s%20Shoes&N=3000584+3000543+4294967226&Ns=P_SalePrice|1&categoryId=cat10005
i'm not so sure though. i want something white but w/ some colors so they'll go with anything and still look cute.

and then Converse for casual stuff, but I'm not sure about sizing.
i wear a 7 1/2 or 8 (not converse size), and converse carries mens sizes or somehing?
do hi tops make your feet look smaller than low? and since this is my first time getting them, should i get a trendy style like double tongue or something simple in black or gray? chuck taylors btw.

thanks for the help =]]

A. A great selection of Nike shoes here, with sizing charts, on sale, etc:

why do women prefer a bad guy (thug) over a good guy?

Q. what i am asking is why is it that a good christian person like me is not good enough for a woman, inside the church or out side the church, i just want to know why the good guys always lose out?

A. Because (DISCLAIMER: many, but not all) women don't know what they want until they have what they don't want. Then they want what they don't have.

Let me break it down like this.....
In order to get all the women wanting you, you don't need:
a car
a job
to be nice
to be logical
the latest and trendiest nice clothes

what you need is:
a gym membership (that you use)
decent clothes that fit you right (hell a couple jeans, some clean white t-shirts, and nice clean shoes are enough if you're in good physical shape)
some "style" to your look, talk, and outlook
a set of standards that you live by and want break for any woman or man
--All of these things say I AM WHO I WANT TO BE.

Then women will have the hots for you. Women's feelings change all the time, so take what they say out their mouths with a grain of salt. It's not about what YOU think should make sense to convincing a woman to be with you. It's what you do that makes the woman determine what makes sense to herself. Hell you don't even have to spend that much time with her, the woman will LIE to herself to justify her dealing with you if you make her feel right in the moments that count. The women will break their necks to get you the car, fancy clothes, jewelry, and all the other unneeded toys to make "her man" look good and take pride in YOU.

It's not about controlling a woman, it's about captivating her heart and hormones. What you do to make her feel the way she wants to feel, WHEN YOU want her to. Whether it's taking her out and showing her an exciting time, holding her and kissing her gently on the forehead, or taking complete control in the bedroom.
Women may complain out their mouths about you and all the stuff they (choose to) put up with to be with you, but they keep going back.
Once you figure that out, you will figure why some guys get all the women, play them like fiddles, while other guys slow to the game sit on the sidelines and cry.

Women are the PLEASERS and a man that goes out of his way to please is looked at as feminine (friend zone). She will even seek you out and let you hang around to give her attention when she wants it (to boost her ego) but that is far as you will get. She will want to give her attention to the man SHE wants.

bad guys finish first, screw the women up, then good guys have to deal with the left over baggage (that the women chose to acquire).
and oh yeah...
You don't have to be a "bad guy" to be perceived as one...

-ask a black guy

Where can I buy these shoes?
Q. I really want a pair of the 5 finger shoes for women. The only place I can think of buying them would be off on online, but I hate buying anything that I haven't tried on and seen in person.

What stores sell them? Thanks.

A. You can get them at any warehouse shoe sale or foot action. I got mine at warehouse shoe sale there way cheap like $50.00 or less. They don't carry them at foot locker cause there not considered "trendy" just watch though they'll have them sooner or later.

Updating my closet? Help on becoming more trendy or stylish?

Q. I want to update my closet with clothes or accessories that i can add to my causal style
this isn't me in the picture but this is basically what i wear... need help i don't want to reinvent my whole style i just want it too look more trendy :)

http://www.google.com/imgres?q=skinny+jeans+and+loose+cardigan&um=1&hl=en&sa=X&biw=1138&bih=535&tbm=isch&tbnid=H9RQYIWaw3EIXM:&imgrefurl=http://www.acutedesigns.org/2011/04/my-go-to-outfit-weekend.html&docid=_W4-qibF8iYWJM&w=1600&h=1200&ei=5XE_Tqn_EunKiAL676joBw&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=397&page=2&tbnh=106&tbnw=146&start=24&ndsp=22&ved=1t:429,r:17,s:24&tx=107&ty=64

A. You seem to have a nice base but one thing your missing of course is...ACCESORIES!! Try mixing some colors in. Take a look at some necklaces at say aldo. A nice splash of color is always nice. If you stick with neutrals, add a red shoe or maybe a yellow handbag. It really adds something to your outfit without being too over the top. In the fall/winter a trench coat and some leather boots with a bit of a heel can look really nice for when your out and about or even just casually. Another staple is a black dress. Something that fights nicely around top and the bottom should reach just above your knee. Paired with a nice necklace, a bright bag and some jewelry can, if done right, look really put together and still be fresh.

Another day look is, wearing the skinnys like in the picture, pair with a white t-shirt and black fitted vest. Looks very hip and trendy. Look around in some magazines for some looks for ideas. Never know what you might find

Back to School Fashion help? trendy, fashionistas, please help!?
Q. what pieces in fall 2011 are really in?
im going to high school and i like to wear very american apparel/forever 21 things
no high heels more than 2 inches, please.
im a size six.

im getting 5 pairs of jeans, what colors/style should they be in?
im getting 6-10 non-basic shirts, what colors/designs/style should they be in?
im looking for versatile pieces that are comfy and stylish.

also...what kind of shoes/hairstyle should i get?
are feather hair pieces still in? highlights? i have long hair.

sorry, i have so many questions, but thanks, in advance!

A. Jeans: You can't go wrong with skinny or straight leg :) I think more of medium and dark washes are in, you could also get black jeans to look sophisticated but kinda casual :) A lot of people have "Miss Me" jeans which have very bold seams and are usually embellished and some are distressed. Just google miss me jeans.

Forever 21 has these cute high waisted shorts which are very in right now. You might want to pick up a pair or two of those. Not the denim ones, they have high waisted shorts with cute patterns (animal print or other cool designs). You can wear them with basic tshirts. And since they're not denim they'll be comfier than denim shorts :P
By the way speaking of patterns, very BOLD patterns are in style, like ethnic prints which look kind of tribal and some look kind of like native american. Just go on the f21 website and you'll see all the patterns there.

For the shirts, crop tops are very in. Forever 21 has those too, I think most stores carry them now since they're so in style. You can either get the crop top shirts, or they have crop top tank tops.
As are rompers, you can get most at forever 21.

Yes, feather hair pieces are still in, don't overdo highlights. I see more of solid colors and subtle highlights nowadays. For shores, Sperry Topsiders are pretty in but if that's not your style, gladiator sandals or vans/converse you can't really go wrong.

OH for a shirt, I don't know what it's exactly called but they look like this:

http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-hPR32HwwgBQ/TifjcNy9TYI/AAAAAAAAALw/2fLQfI4PR1o/s1600/IMG_3157.JPG

^ That girl did a crappy job cutting it but at real clothing stores it will look much better. The shirt has like those little cloth strips down the bottom.
Hope I helped!
