What's a good place to shop for cute, inexpensive young women's clothes in Los Angeles?

Q. I don't like clothes that are overly trendy, but I want to find stuff that's youthful, casual and relatively comfortable without spending too much money. Any suggestions?

A. forever 21, go to the beverly center to the top floor or the grove or santa monica both have one (www.forever21.com). also wet seal has some cheap clothing thats pretty cute (www.wetseal.com). You can try Ross. You can also try Goodwill, they have trendy clothes some even still have the tags on it-the best goodwill i've seen so far is the one on santa monica and stoner ave. Also, Westwood has some clothing stores that are cheap-on westwood blvd across from Bank of America (i forget the names of the store), theres also an excellent bag store right there too and from my experience the price on the tags can be lowered if you act like its too expensive but you really like it, the lady is nice about that. For shoes, i go to Off Broadway on sunset and orange across from In&out-they have a huge selection for discounted prices.

Guys, where are the best places to buy inexpensive sweaters (winter clothing) in Paris, France?
Q. Guys I need your help to find the best clothing stores in Paris where I can buy good quality winter clothing and at the same time not so expensive? I need coat, sweaters and boots...
Going to France for 5 month, and I have to take some summer and winter clothing, but my luggage supposed to be max 22kg/50pounds (obviously not enough for me.) :( So the only option to shop there.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

A. If you're coming from the USA, an extra lugagge is charged $100 ..... Lots cheaper than buying a coat, boots etc.

A good quality coat costs over 800, unless you buy during the sales. If you absolutely want to buy a coat, boots and clothes in Paris, I suggest going to an outlet, La Vallée Village is at the outskirts of Paris, sells many brands and there's a second shopping centre at the same place, which is not an outlet but sells inexpensive brands and it's quite big.
http://www.lavalleevillage.com/en/brands/women

There's a cheaper outlet, the cheapest though sale some good brands, it's not in Paris, it's in Troyes city, you could also find nice clothes there though for the shoes better go to La Vallée Village.
http://www.mcarthurglen.com/fr/mcarthurglen-troyes/fr/

In La Défense, just outside Paris, tube station La Défense Grande Arche, line 1 or RER A, theres Les 4 Temps shopping centre, it mostly sells inexpensive brands.
http://www.les4temps.com/W/do/centre/categorie-mode-femmes

Zara is an Spanish chain of fashion stores, trendy and unexpensive, very popular in Paris.
http://www.zara.com/fr/fr/nouvelle-collection/femme/vestes-c269184.html

Concerning the sweaters, I reccommend buying cashmere ones at Monoprix supermarkets, good quality, quite warm (cashmere is the warmest wool), they cost just above 100. I often buy these sweaters and I combine with coats from Armani, Guy Laroche or Max Mara.

Since you'll spend less than 6 months in France, you can benefit from the vat refund, I think it's 12% off. http://www.douane.gouv.fr/page.asp?id=49
Mc Arthur Glen outlet and 2 department stores : Printemps and Galeries Lafayette give a 10% reduction card to tourists, simply ask for one at the welcome desk.

comfortable dress shoes?
Q. I am an interior design intern (still two more years to graduation), and was wondering what your most comfortable dress shoes are. I've been wearing flats, and they're SO flat that the bottoms of my feet are bruised. The fabric on the cheaper shoes also irritated the bottoms of my feet. =(

I dressed up at a previous job, and any dress shoes were fine because I sat down all day, but at this job I am on my feet 90% of the day. And I wait tables at night, so I'm on my feet then too. I have great serving shoes, but I have to dress up at the internship.

These women (and men) are extremely well dressed. I absolutely cannot look out of date or not stylish. I did buy two pairs today, one was the brand Bare Traps, and the others are Nurture by Dillard's. I don't care how expensive, I just need stylish classy dressy shoes that aren't going to kill my feet. I tried on Naturalizers and they hurt. It's like I'm running a marathon, I need them to be as comfortable as the tennis shoes I'm not allowed to wear.

Is this possible?? The two pairs I got are pretty amazing. The Bare Traps are brown sandals with thick cushy soles. The Nurture are black 2 1/2" pumps. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Save my feet AND my wardrobe!!!

A. I would suggest purchasing some Dr. Scholl's shoes. They're very trendy and professional but they keep you comfortable:

http://www.drschollsshoes.com/Shopping/ProductDetails.aspx?p=EC1141742&pg=5087982
http://www.drschollsshoes.com/Shopping/ProductDetails.aspx?p=EC1107893&pg=5012872

However, if you just want regular shoes, I would suggest investing in one pair of loafers (wedge or flat), one pair of close-toe pumps and one pair of peep-toe sandals. This basic variety of shoes is perfect for transitioning from waiting tables to your internship. If you still find them uncomfortable, simply use Dr. Scholl's inserts for better cushioning and arch support:

Where can I find fashionable plus size shoes?
Q. Does anyone know where I can buy either in a store or online trendy plus size shoes like for a size 12 womans foot? Every website I find has real ugly and outdated shoes. HELPP!
anddd... I'm not a monster, I'm just really tall at 6'1 so its hard for me to find tall lengths and bigger shoes =(

A. I believe Payless goes up to a 13. Nordstrom is always a good bet - they started out as a hard to find shoe specialist, way back when, and have kept that aspect of their business up even after re-focusing to fashion.

There are quite a few more listed in our shoe directory, that notes sizes (and widths) at:

what are the hottest shoes for 7yr. olds that provide good arch support for flat feet?

Q. cant use orthotics for the simple reason there expencive and the rate he's growing wouldnt be in them long,so it needs to be a shoe with great arch support.

A. At 7, I should seriously hope nobody cares about how hot or trendy their shoes are. However, as far as good arch support, my family tends to have flat feet, and our favorite sneaker brands for arch support are New Balance, Skechers, and Vans (not the canvas slip-ons, but the skate sneakers).

Anybody have any suggestions for trendy walking shoes?
Q. I live in NYC, and walk A LOT. I am flat-footed, and I also just found out that I have plantar fascitis in the heels of my feet. (Plantar fascitis is some sort of inflammation, and so it hurts when I put too much pressure (or even lightweight pressure) on that area of my foot.) I also work in the fashion industry. I am used to wearing trendy heels all day long, but for obvious reasons, cannot anymore. I am looking for a good, comfortable pair of flats that I can walk to and from work in and also look good with most work outfits (suits, skirts, nice jeans, etc--that is why regular sneakers just won't work). Anybody have any recommendations?

A. i think that you should get comfy ballet flats try to avoid the plastic kind and get ones that fit perfectly because i have two plastic kind and they give me alot of blsters but then i have these soft ,aterial ones and they are comfy their like wearing slippers you can find them almost anywhere they are relly in and hope they stay in because their are trons of styles and umm i thinking forever 21 in..i think harold square should have some or h&m or some local places. like i said everyone has em girl !!

are their any french women out their who could give me some beauty secrets?

Q. i love french women, id like to pick up some of their advice.

A. I am not French but have learned a lot about French skin care regimens over the past few months as a consultant for a new company called Votre Vu. Our products, which are produced outside of Paris, were only available in high-end European spas until this past September when Votre Vu launched.

So regarding skin care: most French skin care is natually based and the majority of all the good-for-you ingredients in naturally based lines are grown to peak perfection in France because of the climate, soil, etc. So kind of how Florida is known for their oranges, France produces some of the best botanicals used in skin care. The products are great for your skin. My skin has never felt better since I've been using Votre Vu.
French skin care also has higher % of all the good stuff - products are filled with waxes and fillers.

Also, French women use different creams/moisturizers for different body parts - not all skin is create equal! In America we are just told to use our face cream on our neck, however, the French have special creams for the neck because the skin on our neck is different then the skin on our face. Another area they pay special attention to with special cremes is the bust area. I learned this because Votre Vu offers a neck creme and a bust creme. We are bringing French traditions to American mainstream.

Also, French women eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Did you read the book "French women don't get fat"? It talks a lot about that. But not only does diet effect a women's figure, it can effect her skin and hair.

Don't know if those were the kind of tips you were looking for, but hopefully it helps some!

Merci!
Heather Wolgamott

Want to find out more about our French skin care line - visit www.votrevu.com/heather or email me at vvskincare@gmail.com

I also ran into this:
Here are the secrets of French women you can use to help you stand out from the crowd:

1. French women intimately know their body and which styles look good on them. They do not beat themselves up for perceived flaws, but know how to creatively put emphasis on their assets. French women have more personality when it comes to their style - they own their look. So, it's key to establish a unique look that works for you.

2. French women buy a handful of good quality, neutral-colored staples that they can mix and match with each other for maximum wear. They do not "collect" clothing. Clothing is an investment and is meant for a return on their investment. They also know when to purge an item.

3. French women know the power of accessories. They cherish four to five high-end fashion accessories (costume jewelry and scarves) that they wear all the time. They might add one or two new trendy pieces each season and wear them out. They also invest in high quality everyday leather handbags and shoes, keeping their return on investment in mind.

4. French women become friends with a great hair stylist who is skilled at working with their hair type. They get a fuss-free hairstyle and maintain it with great conditioners.

5. French women treat their skin as the treasure it is. Get a facial every month or just give yourself a weekly facial. Maintain, protect and nourish your skin daily. If you have great skin, you radiate and barely need any make-up.

6. French women use make-up as an aid to emphasize their beautiful features, not hide them under layers and layers of coating. The principle applied is: less is more. Your basics include: tinted moisturizer with SPF, a light powder, blush, a great mascara and a lipstick or lip gloss.

7. French women know only too well that you are what you eat, which is why they follow a diet that is rich in seasonal produce, red meat and oily fish - all of which help to keep a figure trim and hair, nails and skin in tip-top condition. To further boost their skin's radiance, French women will also drink plenty of water and, for general well-being, eat a little of what they fancy - including chocolate and a glass of red wine. They relish in the pleasure of small indulgences and do not beat themselves up, like American women. Everything in moderation and smaller portions.

8. French women believe in getting their exercise throughout the day, by walking and biking. The important message here is to not become obsessed about your fitness activities, but pursue them with pleasure. If you hate the stair climber or even going to the gym, find something that gives you enjoyment and not dread. And again, don't beat yourself up if you're not keeping up with all your colleagues latest fitness center stories. It's time to be unique and do what is fun for you! Follow the French on a balanced and time-tested approach to life.

What can I do to help my tired feet?? I recently went back to work and dress shoes are killing me! Help!?

Q. And yes, I buy expensive shoes so that isn't the problem!!!

A. Price is not the issue. Wear trendy dressy shoes that do not have pointy toes or pencil heels. A more rounded toe is much better for your feet. If you regularly where pointed toe shoes, your toes will stay that way and you will get bunions. I have seen it before, it is disgusting. The lower the heel the better. Higher heels look more dressy, so stick with a clunkier heel. They are much easier to walk in and do not put as much stress on your feet and legs. When you get home soak and massage your feet.

I bought a pair of shoes but they are one size too big. What can I put inside them to make them fit?
Q.

A. I have the same problem, except all of my shoes are too big.
I use comfort padding from 'Boots' feet section, cut into strips and then stuck into the toes. I have to do this to all of my shoes because my feet are a size 3 and I have to wear orthotics - needless to say unless you are 12 years old, manufacturers don't make small, trendy shoes that fit orthotics (I am 32!).
Get the extra thick comfy padding and cut thin strips and stick into the toe section. If you stick it on the heel, I find it feels wierd because the shoe heel doesn't fit well, plus it looks really ugly.
Tuff luck if you have open toe sandals, I have to buy kids sandals!
Warning - Make sure your toes aren't too squashed at the end of the shoe, I use 2/3 layers of thick padding for shoes that are 1 size too big.
I am not a podiatrist and my podiatrist will kill me if she finds out that this is what I do to make trendy shoes fit my feet, but it does work!

What to wear to a concert?
Q. In late July, me and my best friends are going to a Ke$ha concert for my birthday. Would this be nice to wear there?
Top:http://www.wetseal.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=47913
Bottoms: Just some denim short shorts I already have
Shoes:http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=FOREVER21&category%5Fname=footwr%5Fcasual&footwr%5Fstyle=footwr%5Fsandals&footwr%5Fsize=8&footwr%5Fcolor=color%5Fblack&footwr%5Fprice=15&product%5Fid=2000019674&Page=1
Necklace: http://www.wetseal.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=45022

So would this be ok? We are also walking around a fair after and before the concert too. I would make a polyvore but it's not working. And how would you do hair and makeup for this outfit or whatever you suggest?
Oh and for shoes, they are in blakc, not gold.

A. The outfit is cute! I'm not a huge fan on the t shirt though.
Something like this: http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?id=20913786&navAction=jump&isProduct=true&parentid=MORE%20IDEAS&isProduct=true&cross-sell=true&guide-bn=true
could be cute. Americana tanks are very trendy this summer.

I'd do hair maybe half back, with braided sides like this:
http://static.becomegorgeous.com/img/arts/2011/Jun/08/4713/braided_half_updo_hair_3_thumb.jpg

And don't go overboard on makeup. It will just melt off. Neutral eyeshadows, maybe a palette with colors like this: http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jhtml?id=P146217&categoryId=S10501&shouldPaginate=true brown eyeliner, foundation, bronzer and a light lip gloss.

The sandals may be a mistake and kill your feet. You may want to do closed shoes. Like cute sneakers or boat shoes.

What are some trendy fall outfits?

Q. I'm 13 and I usually wear t-shirts, both unisex ones from events and stuff and ones actually made for girls. I usually wear gym shorts and sweatpants, and I have a couple jeans and denim shorts. I have toms, sneakers, and converse. I'm too small to fit into the juniors section (I think).

What outfits could I wear to look trendy but not like a poser?

Thanks everyone!

A. 1.)You could wear sweats with any t-shirt that you have (that will look good). And you could wear uggs with them or some really cute tennis shoes. You could also French braid your hair with the outfit if you like You hair French braided.
2.)If you are wearing jeans you could get any t-shirt that you have and tuck it in your jeans them pull it out a little bit so it's not to tight then you can out a cute belt and wear any shoes that will look good. For your hair you could French braid it the night before so when you wake up and take the braid out its wavy. Hope I helped!!

Are Adidas Samba ...Girl or Guy shoes??
Q. I'm not a big fan of unisex anything, I was thinking of possibly buying a pair of these shoes if there not too girly. What does everyone think???

A. I remember having a pair of black with white stripe Adidas samba shoes about 10 years ago, and if I remember correctly, they were indoor athletic shoes - and the pair I had were guy's shoes. Now - that doesn't mean that Adidas hasn't branched out with this model...

A quick stop over at Adidas' website and searching for Samba quickly reveals that this is a men's athletic indoor shoe with some junior/kid models also available. The only women's clothing labeled with 'Samba' are a pair of tights and training paints.

See for yourself:
http://www.shopadidas.com/searchHandler/index.jsp?searchId=18220091683&view=all&keywords=samba

I personally loved the Samba shoe (classic white on black) when I had them because they fit really well when I was running. Your question causes me to long for a new pair so I can start getting fit again.

My friend who got me hooked on these shoes was a pretty athletic guy who played soccer. These shoes are durable and light weight. They aren't flashy or full of stuffing like many of today's $$$ basketball shoes. They are good looking and extremely practical. It's alot like wearing a lightweight slipper or glove over your foot ... not some heavy boot with stuffing that's going to weigh 5 lbs after it gets wet.

However, your question causes me to wonder if you put too much value on what people think about you because of the shoes you wear. I think that's a little shallow - however - I'm way past my teenage years, and have gotten over most of that traumatic teen peer-pressure business. I might be able understand why you might be a little self-conscious wearing these because these aren't 'trendy', however I'm more interested in fit and function than fashion.

If you want a comfortable athletic shoe - and if you can find a pair of Sambas that fit you just right - I wouldn't hesitate to buy them.

What is going to be the next "trend" in fashion?

Q. What is going to be the next "trend" in fashion for men and women?

Clothing and accessories embellished with sequins, including handbags and shoes
All one color looks, head-to-toe
Floral prints

Internship Interview?
Q. I am a Social Work major at a local university and I am doing a senior internship starting in the fall of 2010. The question I have is that I have to go in for an interview for the Internship and I don't know what I should wear. I have never gone for an interview before and I am really nervous.

A. I have no idea if you are a woman or a man, so I'll describe both genders briefly.

If you have a suit, that would be the best option, but you might not. That's understandable. They know you are a student.

If possible, go for a long-sleeved button-up top in a conservative color and pair it with a neutral-colored pair of dress pants (black, gray or navy, preferably.) If you don't have a long-sleeved shirt, go with 3/4 length. I wouldn't go any shorter than that. Absolutely no jeans, even if they are dark wash.

Wear a pair of conservative low-heeled pumps that match. (No overly trendy shoes and try not to wear anything that's too "strappy" or that shows off too much of the foot.) If you don't have the heels, go for whichever flat you have that is cleanest and simple.

You can also substitute the pants for a similar colored skirt, as long as the skirt is long enough so that your thighs are covered when you sit.

If you carry a purse, don't carry one that's wild looking. Switch to a plain colored structured one, if you have that. Or, leave it in the car and carry your resume and other important items in a briefcase (that's often what women prefer to do).

If you're a man, it's a lot of the same stuff. The long-sleeved shirt, the pants...but, obviously, you can skip the pumps and purse and add a conservative tie that coordinates well with the rest of your outfit. :O)

Most importantly, make sure everything is pressed and cleaned and fits well in key areas.

A. Hey, I just answered a question similar to this for another girl. I am just going to copy and paste my answer because I think that it might help you!

"...I feel your pain! I usually find great clothes at those stores, but some of them aren't my style. I can usually find great basic pieces... like dress pants, button up shirts, and jeans at Macy*s and Lane Bryant but I like the hip stuff too!

In my area, these are the places I go to...

Goody's. Believe it or not, they have a small section in the Plus Size women's department called Junior Plus. I bought some of my favorite summer outfits from there this year. They usually have the trendy stuff, too! I like their summer tops and shorts!

Ross. If you have one of these near you, I suggest that you go! Their Woman's World section usually has a bunch of clothes for the older lady, but they also have a lot of cute style clothes. I got some really cute hoodies and tops there this fall. When I go there, I usually find 90430344909085 things or NOTHING. It can really be hit or miss. If you take the time to look through each hanger, you will find some cute stuff. They go up to a size 4X too. Oh, and check out their dresses! They have a ton of dresses in Plus Size!

Cato. There is a Cato right down the road from me. They have Petite and Plus. What is cool is that anything that they have in Petite... they have the same exact thing in Plus. I hate going by a window and being like... "That outfit is so cute!" only to find out that it only goes up to a size 12. :( Again, you really have to look through the racks, but I have bought some nice stuff there. Also, they have a shoe section with plenty of wides and size 9, 10, 11.

Fashion Bug. While their stuff is usually lower quality, they do gear a lot of their clothes to the younger crowd. They usually have awesome dresses and stuff. I have a hard time finding dresses for weddings and events like that, but Fashion Bug has come through for me a lot. And they have cute underwear, especially if you like thongs and boyshorts.

Believe it or not, I do like to shop at Wal*Mart and Target sometimes. I find great basics like velvet pant suits, long sleeve t-shirts, and capris/shorts.

OldNavy. They used to have a better selection in the store, but they have gone exlusively online for their Plus Sizes. If you know what size you are, then you can shop there. I try not to buy online because I like to try something on, but I am really familiar with their sizes. OldNavy is probably one of my favorite places for summer clothing.

Those are my usual spots! I wish you luck because I know how hard it is to find something that looks cute and is flattering to our body type! Good luck! ..."

I hope this helps you!

Shoes for Highschool... what do you like?

Q. Hi Guys,
I am looking for a new pair of shoes... I'll be a Junior in highschool.
I have a long (looonng... like size 9.5) narrow foot so something that wouldn't make my foot look super huge would be nice...
I was looking a pumas ... they dont make my feet look super huge and they are nice and narrow.
I used to wear skater shoes... and last year I wore tennis shoes... and I'm looking for something different.
If you guys have any suggestions that'd be great...
online sites are fine.
Thanks!

A. Puma is the way to go. They are comfy and trendy.

You can check out for deals at:

http://www.pumaspeedcatshoes.com

They always have new puma deals on there all the time.

Good Luck,
M

I have big feet. How am I to find a pair of descent, good-looking shoes with feet as big as mine??
Q. It's like this, I go to a shoe store & all of he shoes there are so trendy and everything. So, for feet as big as mine, I cant find one that I'm satisfied with. I wear sport shoes to school. And that ain't comfortable.

A. YOU DIDN'T SAY WHAT SIZE AND IT'S NOT NECESSARY FOR ME TO KNOW. GO ONLINE AND TRY MASON SHOES, MORDSTROM'S, CLOUD CLIMBERS, LANE BRYANT AND FOR DISCOUNT SHOES AND BOOTS TRY JESSICA LONDON. EACH COMPANY LISTED HAS CATALOGS ONLINE AND IN PAPER. THE SIZES RANGE FROM NARROW TO EXTRA WIDE AND THEY HAVE YOUNG UP TO DATE SELECTIONS FOR THE MOST PART. THERE ARE SOME SPECIALTY SHOE STORES OUT HERE TOO. JUST BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF AND SURF THE NET. TRY "LARGE SIZE SHOES FOR WOMEN" FOR INITIAL WEB SEARCH AND TAKE IT FROM THERE.

what are the trendy shoe styles this year?

Q. I'm starting a business selling shoes but I need to know which are the most trendy styles for women this year. I don't want to buy a bunch of shoes that will not sell. I know that really high heels are not so in, but what about wedges or slip-ons? Please let me know your suggestions,

Thanks!

A. Well for teens, like myself you should try these:

* Flats - everyone loves them even adults.

* Converse or Vans. They are very in.

* my personal favorite shoes are harajuki, it's hard to spell. But they are proably the most expensive sneakers out there. The style of them is japanese harajuki obviously and they have a lot of high top and bright colors.

But the MUST haves are pretty much flats and vans. Guys also wear vans.

Where can I find "androgynous" men's shoes?
Q. And/or shoes with a heel that have a more "masculine" look. I love the feeling I get by wearing shoes with a heel, but I don't like how most women's heels are designed. I don't like a really thin heel, how open they are, etc. I would like the look of something like a loafer or slip in with a heel, but I'm not sure where to look for shoes like this. Any advice? Thanks!

A. Look at some of these from Bass. This is a link to the whole "casual" category so you'll have to look past some trendier styles, but many of the shoes at this link might be exactly what you want.

What does someone in their 20's where when the dresscode is business casual.?

Q. Specifically in healthcare as a nurse manager. Shoes have to be comfortable but cute. Need Help!! New Job starts Monday.

A. A dark colored blazer with matching dark colored pants and a blouse underneath that. You can choose the right color combos to make it look less drab, like pastel colors for eg.
Or instead of a blazer you can wear a cardigan/sweater type to make it look more trendy.

What are the most comfortable (can't be sneakers or white though) shoes to wear for everyday? See details....
Q. I work full-time in an insurance office and dress professionally, but no suits. Pants/skirts with sweaters or nice tops. I have arthritis in most of my joints including my knees & feet and have had 4 knee surgeries. The last one was a total knee replacement. I also have no arches left in my feet. I'm trying to keep working because I'm in my 40's & don't want to be out disabled at my age. However, I'm up and down a lot during the day and my feet hurt all the time. Can you please recommend some brands of shoes you've had success with? Most of my clothes would match black/brown/navy or I'd ask nurses who are on their feet all day but I think they mostly wear white shoes with their uniforms. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays.

A. There's a brand called Aerosoles (http://www.aerosoles.com/) that is known for making really comfortable, yet stylish, shoes.

Also, flats are really trendy at the moment so I'm sure you'll have luck finding a nice pair of those for comfortable everyday wear.

why do women prefer a bad guy (thug) over a good guy?

Q. what i am asking is why is it that a good christian person like me is not good enough for a woman, inside the church or out side the church, i just want to know why the good guys always lose out?

A. Because (DISCLAIMER: many, but not all) women don't know what they want until they have what they don't want. Then they want what they don't have.

Let me break it down like this.....
In order to get all the women wanting you, you don't need:
a car
a job
to be nice
to be logical
the latest and trendiest nice clothes

what you need is:
a gym membership (that you use)
decent clothes that fit you right (hell a couple jeans, some clean white t-shirts, and nice clean shoes are enough if you're in good physical shape)
some "style" to your look, talk, and outlook
a set of standards that you live by and want break for any woman or man
--All of these things say I AM WHO I WANT TO BE.

Then women will have the hots for you. Women's feelings change all the time, so take what they say out their mouths with a grain of salt. It's not about what YOU think should make sense to convincing a woman to be with you. It's what you do that makes the woman determine what makes sense to herself. Hell you don't even have to spend that much time with her, the woman will LIE to herself to justify her dealing with you if you make her feel right in the moments that count. The women will break their necks to get you the car, fancy clothes, jewelry, and all the other unneeded toys to make "her man" look good and take pride in YOU.

It's not about controlling a woman, it's about captivating her heart and hormones. What you do to make her feel the way she wants to feel, WHEN YOU want her to. Whether it's taking her out and showing her an exciting time, holding her and kissing her gently on the forehead, or taking complete control in the bedroom.
Women may complain out their mouths about you and all the stuff they (choose to) put up with to be with you, but they keep going back.
Once you figure that out, you will figure why some guys get all the women, play them like fiddles, while other guys slow to the game sit on the sidelines and cry.

Women are the PLEASERS and a man that goes out of his way to please is looked at as feminine (friend zone). She will even seek you out and let you hang around to give her attention when she wants it (to boost her ego) but that is far as you will get. She will want to give her attention to the man SHE wants.

bad guys finish first, screw the women up, then good guys have to deal with the left over baggage (that the women chose to acquire).
and oh yeah...
You don't have to be a "bad guy" to be perceived as one...

-ask a black guy

Where can I buy these shoes?
Q. I really want a pair of the 5 finger shoes for women. The only place I can think of buying them would be off on online, but I hate buying anything that I haven't tried on and seen in person.

What stores sell them? Thanks.

A. You can get them at any warehouse shoe sale or foot action. I got mine at warehouse shoe sale there way cheap like $50.00 or less. They don't carry them at foot locker cause there not considered "trendy" just watch though they'll have them sooner or later.

what is a good trendy boutique name?

Q. Target age 16-35
Selling trendy clothing, accessories, handbags, and shoes will be imported from Hong Kong, Japan & Korea.

A. At the end of the day you want paying customers. That why you target and older crowd, with a younger trendy look. Sure a 16 yr old might walk through the door, but the mom is right behind her, or she's holding her mom's credit card.

That being said, copying someone else is the best measure. No need to reinvent the wheel.

That being said, I was given some personal advice from someone in the industry. "Name your store after someone's name" It is much easier to brand Annabelle Borgia than it is to brand The Hand Bag. And, the reason why is, because people can be led to believe Annabelle is a real person and she dresses a certain way, and girl / women will fantasize about being her. The Hand Bag really doesn't translate to a whole frame of mind.

What are the hottest trends for women this summer?
Q. Whether it's through fashion or beauty
I also bought a few dresses ooff of eBay, can someone help me hook them up, either dress up or down...I'll be leaving to Florida soon, so i want to wear them down there.

A. I hope i answered your question.

Well you cant forget about the neutrels, burmuda shorts, and dont forget the wedge shoes.

Seasonal Color Trends

This season's Spring colors are more subdued and romantic. Powdery pastels in baby blue, apricot, pale yellow, and light shades of green will bring out your feminine side. Paired with classic neutrals such as black, white and taupe, you're sure to find shades that suit you best.

Summer Fabrics

The new Spring and Summer season brings back some great classic fabrics. Now you'll be seeing more light, lacy fabrics and the basic cotton stretch. Spandex-inspired designs offer comfort and versatility that allow women of all shapes and sizes to enjoy. Dresses and skirts in flowing chiffon and silk are sure to please those looking for a feminine, classy look. Great for work and fun!

Patterns

For those who prefer color, go bright and bold. For style and sophistication, opt for luscious garden prints, retro patterns and black and white geometrical shapes. Many cultures add to ethnic styles with colorful patterns mixed with rich, earth tones.

For a classical look, preppy polo shirts give you stripes galore! The further apart the stripes, the larger you may appear. If you're concerned, choose tops with stripes closer together, with only two colors. Diagonal lines can be rather slimming if they're narrow and meet at the front. Vertical stripes on trousers are a must-have, but only paired with a solid shirt or blouse.

Style Trends

This summer brings some new, exciting fashion trends. With warmer weather moving in, women want simple, feminine styles. Traditional, tailored clothing are classic and will always be a shoe-in for business, weddings, or formal events. Layer your clothing to switch from work to play. Keep your classics cleaned and pressed for impromptu summer events and activities.

Look for denim blue jeans that are cuffed at least 3" deep with sexy, flat sandals. Cool things off with a tank top to expose your shoulders. Don't go light on support, invest in a seasonal bra that has clear or removable straps. Look for tanks and halters that have a built-in bra for style and convenience.

Spring's knee-length skirts flow naturally for eye-catching appeal. Solid colors and subtle designs are more traditional while unique patterns allow us to show personality and pizzazz. Faded denim is always a hit for a rock concert or wild night in the city.

Combine a basic tee, gypsy-style skirt, and flip-flops to gain immediate attention. For a more sophisticated look, pair a great flouney skirt with a stylish tank top. Sandals or wedge shoes in a neutral color compliment most styles and are practical for warmer weather.

Trendy, military inspired clothing shows your support and is an instant hit for casual wear. Take your pick from light cotton cargos, camouflage, walking shorts, and belted jackets. Be creative and accessorize with a belt and dog tags.

Modern Accents and Accessories

The upcoming Spring fashions accentuate unique personalities and bring with it some of Winter's hottest trends in accessories and jewelry.

For necklaces, think layers and match up with funky beads and symbolic pendants.

Bangle bracelets and watches adorned with etchings or glitter.

Toe rings, thumb rings, body jewelry.

Chunky, ethnic pieces. Old fashioned designs.

Sunglasses with oversized frames and lenses.

A flirty sarong for the beach.

Open-backed slides with sequin accents and beads.

Hot Makeup Trends:

What's hot this Summer? Makeup adds definition to the face and this season brings earthy shades with defined cheeks. For those who are a little more conservative, taupe will lift your spirit and look great in pictures. Both peaches and corals radiate a youthful glow -- and can take years off of your face. From eye shadow, cheeks, to lips, pink gives you a healthy look, while underplaying fine lines and wrinkles.
