what do you think of these shoes?

Q. http://www.endless.com/Sebago-Womens-Old-Town-Brown/dp/B000F55DWA/ref=ord_crt_shr?ie=UTF8&fromPage=cart&refURL=/shoppingCart&asins=B000F55DWA#tabsAnchor

thanks :)

A. so at first glance, i thought these were cute shoes.... for guys. and then i saw that they are in fact women's shoes and my opinion changed.
no offense but my trendy gay friends were shoes exactly like these. and ive seen the occassional lesbian, much older women that wea them for comfort and not asthetics, and the hipster/hippie type girl who think they look good but have no real fashion sense.

so if you fall into one of these categories, go for it. if not please trust me theres other type of shoes that are just has comfy and MUCH more prettier/fashionable.

ARE THESE SHOES CUTE?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!?!!?! :D?
Q. http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bp-lotus-sandal/3144914

What do YOU think?! I was thinking the black ones since it will match with everything! :)
Do you guys know any other store that might have shoes like this? Or similar to this?!
Thank you so guys!! :D

A. Those are defininitely cute and trendy, but may not be that practical. A cuffed sandal seems like it would be really hot/warm!! But they are very cute, especially if you feel like they're your style and you could incorperate them well. THink about the other clothes in your closet, the outfits you normally wear and picture these shoes with them. Especially with shorts and skirts, dresses. Black would go with everything, but the sand color is so neutral i feel it would be MUCH better. So much more contrast. The black would blend in and go unoticed. People will notice your WHOLE figure with the sand colored shoes, they draw eyes down the legs to your feet. PLUS sand color is SOOOO much springy/summery for the season. Hope this helps alot. :)

I was looking aorund and I notice all these hot cute handsome guys wlaking around and beautiful stunning girls with nice smooth makeup and nice trendy clothes! omg I also saw adults you know woman and man wearing expensive clothing and woman with nice flawless makeup that looks like it cost a lot lol and I'm all here wearing a grey simple sweater grey shotrs and white tenni shoes and my hair all freezy and damage looking lol because of th esalt water i guess and i was thinking dang all this peopel are so lucky and blessed to have want they have but apparently they dont know and i kind of felt like they look down on people like me or maybe it wa sjust me!? lol so my question is specially if any of you live ove rhtere and go for walks there what do u think of people like me that we are just with limited resources you know we are not rich but we are not poor either we just have our ups and downs like some ppl do too. I'm Latina I have tan olive skin tone like a light dark skin tone and of cours ewhen i got out of the beahc i wa spretty burned lol I amm fat i weight 192 im not pretty in any way but i do like my eyes and my smile :D So I wa sjust wondering and yes I'm proud to be who i am and what i have and where i come form :D but that was my question and I apparently like those guys a lot lol they had nice tan they dont dress like all the cholos u see around lol they have nice hair and hazel , brown and blue or green eyes lol I'm a sucker for honey brown eyes or guys with blond hair american of course with brown eyes omg i sa wlots of thos ebut they well actually no guy ever looked at me haha how sad and im all imagining about marrying one of those :) Please dont judge me and dont be rude.

A. Your confidence is another one of your good qualities. The fact that you can acknowledge that you aren't "them" is admirable and you'll find someone that can appreciate you for who you are. Corny as it sounds, you seem like a good person, and there's never a shortage of people looking for that.

I NEED SOME HELP! (:?
Q. This is going to be a long question. :)
Well school starts in about 3 or 4 weeks. I guess I'm pretty, but I'm tired of being known as the "cute one" to all of my friends. I want to look prettier, hotter, and more mature. I also want to look like a girl guys stop and stare at. But I don't want to lose myself!!
I'm going into high school.
I'm maybe 4'11". Pretty short. I have medium skin that tans to a dark walnut in the summer. I have almond shaped dark brown eyes, and dark brown hair. I'm really thin, and people make fun of me for it and being short. I have a small amount of really long (overgrown) layers, and overgrown sidebangs.
My style is like a t-shirt, jeans, polos, sneakers kind. Really casual.
I have a bunch of questions, for different categories.

HAIR
1) Should I cut my hair like this (having a heart-shaped face?): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiHL3WkYE
2) Does giving yourself natural highlights with apple cider vinegar (1 cup water, 1 cup ACV) actually work? I'm tempted to try, because my mom doesn't want me to go to a salon for highlights and she won't let me buy a kit.
3) How could I fix my hair like this?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnZ3USvpW
I actually have no curling iron, but if I wanted my hair curly I usually use braids and sleep in them overnight. I also own a hair dry (but no straightener). Do I just have to make really loose braids to get the waves?
4) Is there a way to make your hair grow a little faster? I want it to be a little longer before it gets cut.
5) Any cute hairstyles, casual like messy buns, etc.?
6) Any healthy hair tips?

FASHION
I'm petite. I want a cute, fun girly style.
1) What are the trends for 2010-2011?
2) What are the essentials in my wardrobe?
3) What stores should I shop at?
4) Anything else I need to know?
5) What kind of bags are cute, affordable, and durable (like purses, etc.?)
6) What kinds of shoes are cute affordable, trendy, and they go with any outfit? How many and what kinds of shoes should I have?

MAKEUP
1) What colors would suit me?
2) How much is enough makeup?
3) How do you curl your eyelashes?
4) Can Vaseline be used as mascara?
5) What/ how should I do my makeup if I want my eyes to look bigger?
6) Or, how can I work with my almond eye shape?
7) Any beauty tips?

BODY
1) What's a good beauty routine?
2) How often should I shave/pluck/wax?
3) How do I shape and pluck and groom my eyebrows?
4) How much water should I drink each day, recommended?
5) What's a good skincare routine? I get occasional zits.
6) Good ways to get rid of eyebags?
7) Do any of those eyebag creams work?
8) Ways to develop body confidence?
9) How to take care of a girlstache?
10) How to keep up with everything?
11) How to look good anytime, anywhere?
12) What exercises to fix my flat butt? (:

PERSONALITY
1) How to not lose myself?
2) How to flirt with guys?
3) How to be more organized this year?
4) How to be more girly?
5) How to be a better student?
6) How to pay mroe attention in class?
7) How to make more friends?
8) How to survive high school? (:
9) How to not procrastinate?

Any other additional tips you have are going to be greatly appreciated whether it's beauty, personality, etc. Please, no rude comments. Thanks so much! (:

A. hair:

u need to highlight to get that look vinegar wont work. You can go to beauty salon get color highlights with high lift tint. High lift tint is a color and little amounts of bleach its less harsh and less blond if you want

http://colorbymia.com/yahoo_site_admin/a

braided hair will work with waves but it looks more of the messy ubed head look. If you want ringlet waves you have to set hair after wash with mouse than curl with medium iron

curled waves:
http://celebhairstyle.files.wordpress.co

braided waves:
http://images.teamsugar.com/files/upl1/2

prettiest cuts are with layers. Layer layer and face frame the front. If do bangs do the angle ones.

skin:
cleanse, tone, moisturize, twice a day. exfoliate once a week, cucumber for bags, AVEENO good products. I liked Proactive for zits it took a few months to work but it did

fashion:

a good pare of jeans
ballet flats
converse for sneakers
leggings with skirts
find outfits that you can mix and match with others
tote bag cuter than backpack

makeup:
vaseline will look dewy but no length, metal eye curler not plastic will work, I love the Mabelline classic pink and green mascara works well

school:
im a college student 3.8 my step daughter high school is in Bacholorate program and was in GATE.. DO THE ASSIGNMENTS IMMEDIATELY. If you have more than one do the one that's due first. Find how you retain information better and work with that. For example if you are an auditory learner bring tape recorders to school, if you are visual take notes then when you study write of flash cards and have someone quiz you.
Listen always take notes, study, organize folder, and practice the SAT its important for college. You can find SAT practice test on amazon and its written by the College Board that administers the tests.

also get organized: put tabs and separate your classes by categories in y our folder. Keep track of assignments

personality:

The best advice is the simpliest: Be yourself

Who is that self?
This is what you need to find out. The teen who self reflects the most and finds out what he or she wants in life and who she is is the most confident adult. Make goals, what you do in this life as a career doesnt define who you are. Find what you love. What makes you, you.

Rise above peer pressure or mean people. Make your own decisions and make them so you dont regret what you did later on in life.

Be nice be you and smile. If someone is mean let them go, move on, and they dont deserve you.

Learn to use manners so few women act like ladies anymore

What do women wear in Miami nightclubs or bars?

Q. My boyfriend and I are from Illinois and I personally haven't been to a nightclub in Chicago or anywhere for that matter. We are going to Miami in May and he wants to go to a nightclub or a bar when we land in Miami at around 10pm on a Sunday. I am so clueless.
What do women and men where in the clubs in Miami?
What is a good one to go to on a Sunday?
How much does it usually cost to get in?
I mainly need advice on clothes to wear because being from Illinois is way different then Miami. PLEASE HELP I NEED A LOT OF ADVICE!
Thank you.

A. Women in Miami get really dressed up to go out at night. Think cute dresses, mini-skirts and shiny tops, high-heel at all times, flashy jewelry, etc.
Try coming up with an outfit that you will feel comfortable in, but that is still trendy. If you don't feel comfortable in a dress or mini-skirt, try wearing leggings or dark denim with 5-inch heels, a pretty top and a trendy purse. Guys usually wear dark denim or slacks with a button down shirt and dress shoes. Some places they can get away with tennis shoes, but as long as they look dressy.
As to where to go on Sunday nights, best get a recomendation from your Hotel Concierge.Normally, lounges or hotel bars will be the best on Sundays. Make sure to ask him what the dress code is to where he recommends.
Good luck and have fun in MIA ;)

Question about clothing (boys)?

Q. Hi, I'm italian and in Italy young people spend lots of money to buy fashionable clothes (Nike airmax/airforce, tight Carrera Jeans, Ralph Lauren shirt with a necklace underneath, hair sticking up with gel and for some an earing on one ear is typical way of an italian male to dress. Is it the same in the US? I've heard americans tend to dress more confortable than trendy. Oh one last question: in Italy abercrombie and fitch and Hollister are considered very cool because it's american clothing (also college like sweaters have big success) but do you like these brands? Thanx!!!

A. A lot of teens & young adults do dress as you all do. Inner city kids, teens, adults usually go for the trend instead of comfort. One earring in the left ear is common for boys sometimes 2. Hollister & Ambercrombie & Fitch are very popular. Although, not every one in America dresses the same. Older people usually go for comfort instead of style.

I wear a lot of those brands. Most of my clothes are American Eagle, Ralph Lauren, Levi Jeans, Nike Shoes, some Adidas, no earrings. I graduated high school this year. People at my school wore the Hollister, Jordans, Airmax, Tru Religion, etc.

The hair gel is usually with the Latinos and Italians. No one else does the gel. Never heard of the Carrera Jeans & Aeropostale is out of style here. We do wear the college 'sweaters' we call them hoodies.

Poll: What are the most popular shoe brands on the streets?
Q. Besides Nike, Air Jordan & Adidas

A. Nike SB Shoes:
One of the most popular brands now on the street scene is the Nike SB is various models. Found in sneaker boutiques across both coasts, the Nike SB is a trendy fixture and must-have for an store owner to remain competitive -- and in business.

Adidas Gazelle:
Produced in 1968, the Gazelles original purpose lies hidden in mystery and speculation. Its silhouette suggests that it could have begun as an indoor soccer shoe. The streamlined shape, simple styling and flat sole are topped off with the suede upper to create a classic piece of design. It made a real impact on the early hip-hop scene, is worn by b-boys today and has been adopted by skaters and indie-rockers alike.

Vans Authentic Core Classic:
The Vans Authentic Core Classic casual skate shoe is THE original classic. It is the shoe that started it all for Vans and has remained a favorite since 1966. From pro skateboarders to the clerk behind the counter at your local 7-11 - the Authentic casual is flexible, versatile and highly visible across all sub-cultures.

Converse Chuck Taylors (Highs or Lows):
For any VERY relaxed environment, Converse may be your sneaker of choice for a casual shoe to kick about in. Probably one of the world's most popular sneakers ever, Converse offers classic design that hasn't changed in years. These kicks can be found on people of all ages and across many subcultures. You can never go wrong with a pair of Chucks. They go with just about everything.

New Balance 420:
One of the coolest sneakers out in the market today is the New Balance 420. The shoe is stylish, slim, light, very slick, and retro. The 420 is a smooth glide. The outsole offers grip and the insole is well-cushioned. These kicks were created for serious runners or laid-back loungers. Either way, the 420 is versatile and makes a great everyday shoe.

quick question on fashion footwear?

Q. if you guys know about fashion foot wear please help me out cause i dont know a thing about it
i have to find an image of a (basic , fad , fashion) footwear .. i need u guys to help me out please

A. Here are examples of the three different categories of shoes that you asked about. A basic shoe is one that is seldom trendy but always worn by lots of women--a classic like a plain high heel, a basic sneaker, a basic moccasin shoe, plain flat, or plain lace up or slip on oxfords.

A fad style would be something that women suddenly started wearing but that has not been popular over a very long time in history. Like Uggs, sneakers with wheels under the sole, super high platform heels etc.

A fashion style is one that is over the top in design elements and may never be seen other than on the runway like lobster shoes, those wedges that were so high that the model Naomi Campbell fell off of them on the runway. They do make fashion shoes, based on the crazy super high fashion runway shoes, that are more wearable and made for the public.

STYLE FOR BACK TO SCHOOL?
Q. im 14 and a girl(:
im not loving my boring teeshirts and jeans look... can someone give me advice or send a link on what i should wear thats new and different. thankss(: pleaseee..

A. Here's some advice:

Jeans:
-The average person has 7 pairs of jeans. That being said, you don't need seven off the bat. A good number to start with is 3, and then work your way up.
-Dark wash jeans are slimming, and everyone could use a couple pairs of dark wash jeans
-the classic colors (and ones that you should focus on getting) are dark wash, medium wash, light wash, black, grey, and white (the last three are bordering on trendy but they will still look good for years to come)
-colored jeans (like turquoise, yellow, purple) are trendy; get them if you're okay with wearing them for only the next couple of years
-Every girl does not look good in skinny jeans, nor does every girl look good in all the denim fits. You must accept that your body is best flattered by only certain fits
-Skinny jeans look best on skinny women, because the tapered leg makes the hips look wider and curvier by comparison
-straight leg or bootcut fit jeans look best on most women, because they are the classic fits and flatter the average woman with average hips.
-bootcut or flare jeans look best on curvy women, because the flared leg at the bottom slims the hips a little by comparison, slimming and lengthening the entire leg
-wide-leg trouser jeans look best on plus-sized women, because the wide leg gives a clean, long line that flatters the plus-sized woman's curves
-when you find the perfect fit for you, any color jean will work. even though people say white denim accents your "flaws" like big butt, big thighs, etc, if the fit works on you, then it flatters you, and the color is only a detail
-low rise looks best on women with short torsos, long legs or big butts
-mid rise looks best on women with a "pouch" that they'd like to hide or plus size women
-mid or high rise looks best on women with longer torsos or plus size women
-cheap denim has its merits; when the jeans are damaged or destroyed, they are cheap to repurchase/replace. they can even be as cheap as $10 is some places
-premium/designer denim has its merits too; they are made of Pima cotton, which is a higher quality cotton that makes denim last longer due to longer fibers. designer denim tends to fit a greater variety of people better, because designer denim stores tend to focus only on denim and so cater to more peoples' tastes. premium jeans are known to last a decade with the proper care
-to take proper care of denim, machine wash cold and air dry. there are other ways to make jeans last even longer though, check out this handy guide: http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Navigation/Deni

Jackets:
-Every woman has different styles of jackets that look best on them. Check out myshape.com, where you can find the body type that best fits you, and read the tips on what types of jackets flatter you best: http://www.myshape.com/shop/shape-anatom

Sweaters:
-sweater quality depends on price and materials used. cotton tends to be the cheapest, and is usually great for everyone
-merino wool is in the middle concerning price and warmth retention
-cashmere is the best in terms of softness, and warmth retention, but it is expensive and must be taken care of

Shoes:
-it depends on what you want in shoes. try out all the styles when you go shoe shopping
-converse (chuck taylors)
-ballet flats
-sandals
-gladiator sandals (trendy)
-sneakers (like Nike)
-boots (like Uggs)
-slouchy boots (trendy)
-clogs
-boat shoes and oxfords (very preppy)

purses/bag:
-up to you

Layering tops:
-vests
-cardigans
-basically anything can be a layering top, try neutral colors if you're unsure (classic neutral colors: khaki, navy, grey, burgundy, black, white)

Style:
-you can have it based off an pre-existing label (like prep) but try to distinguish yourself, throwing in interesting shoes, or accessories, or wear jeans/corduroy instead of chinos (for example)
-it helps to write out what you want yourself to look like
-try things you've never thought to try on before (maybe henleys, polos, rugby shirts, corduroy, sweater vests, dresses, etc)
-remember, keep patters to scale: if you are petite, small patters look best (like pinstripe), if you are big, big patters look best (like thick stripes). Solid colors look best on everyone.
-Petite women should try to stay away from polka dot, because it may remind people of Minnie Mouse

Shops for your age:
-PacSun
-Hollister
-American Eagle
-Aeropostale
-Forever 21
-Anchor Blue
-Gap
-J.Crew
-Hot Topic
-Converse
-Vans
-Nike
-Creative Recreation
-Old Navy
-Seven For All Mankind
-Joe's Jeans
-Macy's
-Bloomingdale's
-Express
-Lacoste
-Lucky Brand Jeans
-Victoria's Secret (she's a man....just kidding...)
-H&M
-Heritage 1981
-Target
-Wal Mart
-Plato's Closet
-Buffalo Exchange
-True Religion
-Zara
-Torrid
-Armani Exchange
-American Apparel

lady sov lyrics?

Q. does anybody know the lyrics to lady sov's song "hoodie"???

A. http://www.metrolyrics.com/lyrics/1065060761/Lady_Sovereign/Hoodie
or

Hoodie Lyrics

[Verse 1]
For a second ill be the fashion police and im just looking at your garms you been on too many catalogue sprees
With your grannyfied curtain designs, your hurting my eyes,
You really should revise your dress sense before you walk on by,
Im kinda mixed up in this disco inferno,
Baggy jeans and a tight top, lemonade and pernod
Im sticking out like a sore thumb but i aint concerned though, no, uh oh,oh oh oh (boogie)

[Chorus x2:]
Fling on an A D I D A S hoodie and just boogie woogie with me
Ohhhhh...
Or you can just. put on your dancing shoes and get loose
Can you get loose can you??

[Verse 2]
So i was up in this trendy bar mingling
My keys around my neck were jingling
And you was looking at me like it was my bling
You was staring at me like to say i was ginger
I was dishing out out the same dirty looks trust me your the minger

Errrr, whos she, whos that, whos her??
The bouncer was approaching me coz i was dressed really inappropriately
No hood, no hats, no this, no that
Lets rolluh olll uh olll ..(out)

[Chorus x2]

Right everybody, if youve got someone who cant dress properly, yeah you need to direct them this way.

[Verse 3]
Why not just cut up all your old clothes and make a quilt so i can wrap myself up when im feeling cold,
Why not dash your ugly boots on the fire and burn them down to charcoal,
If your not feeling the way that your bedrin is dressing dont be stressing send them in my direcion please,
Black shoes , white socks, no uhh ohhh
Polka dots, no uhh ohhh
Flowery frocks, no uhh ohhh
Just boogie woogie with me!!!

[Chorus: repeat until end]

Who agrees that Converse shoes are trash?

Q. I've been seeing a bunch of teens and even adults wearing these all star Converse shoes lately. Is this the newest trend. Well, I find nothing trendy about those shoes. Yuck!

A. i wore chucks as a kid! had like 11 colors and used to trade 1 shoe with a friend. wow! those are gross!!

Hey is Chuck Taylor Converse shoes still something people wear?
Q. I have a pair but i totally dont want to look like a geek if i wear them.

A. It really depends. I know in the North East, mostly punk/goth kids wear them. It's actually quite trendy with that group. Of course, the random popular kid will wear them, but you have to know how to pull it off. You know - make it an outfit. Don't just throw them on with a pair of jeans; for example, you could wear a pair of slightly baggy cargo capris, a cute (but tightish) shirt, and your Chuck Taylors. I've seen lots of people pull that off recently.

Personal Essay [Publisher Competition]?

Q. This is for a competition that could evidently help me publish a book with a trip to London and monthly workshops in Edinburgh.

Personal Essay on "My Ambitions."

This essay is about Ambitions, but not just anyone's ambitions. My ambitions. I have always had many ambitions from when I was just 5, but now I am 14 years old and I really need to start giving this some thought as I begin to enter adutlhood. This year is my fourth year in secondary school, and since primary I would like to have believe myself to have been quite smart but now the teenage pressures that plague other students education have began to eat away at me. In classes that used to be wonderous and fun have become routine and boring and the relentless hunger for knowledge that I once had began to wittle away. During the summer I have been training myself for the impossible seeming year ahead of me and for the past three years I feel as if I have only been becoming aquainted with the trials and tribulations of secondary education. I have always been quite ambitious and imaginative and ever since I was 5 years old I have always believed that I would become an astronaut or a writer when I was older. This seemed to be quite the hip and trendy jobs at the time and as I had always been a fan of the Doctor Who series I had always imagined myself stepping out onto the moon standing proud and staring down at humanity taking a large step for 'Man'.

But as I grew older I began to realise this was becoming more and more impossible. This became clear as I entered my primary stage of education which would sow the seeds of knowledge for my still developing mind. Only the physically and mentally ultimate could achieve such a feat and so therefore I began to lower my standards but nevertheless I still aimed high.

My next dream job began to reveal itself as I delved into the art of singing. I hadn't always been too keen with music when I was younger and the only bands I liked was Busted, Ultrabeat and McFly. Unlike space travel, being a singer required a talent and this would stay with me until the day I died. When I was 7 years old my mother introduced me to karaoke, and it was my Auntie Angie that gave me the slight push out the door. I began to sing frequently finding any spare moments to toss in a Busted disk into my CD Player and jam it out in my bedroom. I began to reguarly attend karaoke nights at family bars, one of them being the notorious Crazy Tots in Blackpool and the Horse Shoe Bar. I had always been popular with people that partook in singing at the bars as I was one of the only kids that sung reguarly, but once around the time I turned 9 I was approached by a small record label manager called Gary whom offered me a signing but my dad refused as he had always thought that I was too young. Nevertheless the relationship I had with my fellow singers remained sturdy through the years.

Unfortunately though now that I became 11 I was too old to go to Crazy Tots and the Horse Shoe Bar had stopped allowing kids to do karoake at the bar and this is when my ambitions fluxed once again, Returning to the present I had signed up for Britains Got Talent last year but being too occupied with education's leer I had missed that all important e-mail that told me the date that I would audition, this was late 2010 and this was one of the worst terms for me. One of the main causes was the withdrawal of freedom that I used to have, I began to get an increasing amount of workload and plenty of essays. I had always been someone who likes to relax and to be completely honest I have always left work to the last minute, the typical case being finishing homework in the late hours of Sunday night. But nevertheless I worked my hardest and this is reflected in my Folio Essays and the grades I achieve.

Around about the age of 10 before I stopped singing it began to become too much of a routine for me so I went on to pursure the only career that would stay with me up until now that was the expressive skill of Acting. I had always imagined myself on the television screen being the newest star in an action movie, being interviewed on the evening news and my face plastered all over billboards in posters for my latest productions. This was the most realistic job for me as this was one of the only arts that I was skilled in and extremely enjoyed and this still stays with me today as I still aim to follow my dream and become an actor, but not only on television but also in theatre and hopefully...Broadway. And the first steps I am willing to take are get Adv. Higher qualifications for Drama and audition for a BA Acting course at the prestigious Royal Scottish Academy for Music and Drama (the RSAMD) and then afterwards find a flat in London and jumpstart my career in the most dramatic area of London, the West End.

[The Conclusion was to long to put in.]

A. Even though it took me forever to read, I liked it. Good luck!

What kind of shoes are popular for women and teegnage girls in Sweden?

Q. What is popular in the winter and in the summer?

A. Here is a link to a shoe store in Sweden, even if you can't read Swedish it's easy enough to browse the tabs.
http://dinsko.se/Shop-online/Dam

And you can look at what people in Sweden are wearing here:
http://lookbook.nu/looks#countries/sweden/sort/newest/time/this-month

The styles change every season. People tend to be casual during the day and dress up if they're going out at night. Sneakers are very common in summer (Converse, Adidas, Puma, all the usuals) as well as ballerina slippers and sandals (last year it was the strappy gladiator type). Waterproof boots are sort of a necessity in winter, you'll see very trendy ones in major cities but in rural areas they're often practical rubber ones like wellies. Right now a lot of girls are wearing ankle boots and wedges, some of them open toe. I've also seen a lot of loafers lately.

What style of shoes to wear with skinny jeans when I have big feet?
Q. I love wearing pointy toed shoes for work which is fine as I wear corporate pants and my feet don't look as massive when I wear them like that but I like wearing skinny jeans too, what style of shoes would look okay when I have big feet with the skinny jeans? Not thongs/flip flops though..

A. Flats will make your feet look longer, so they aren't the best choice. Apply the same concept that you use with dress pants to your casual pants: A higher heel will visually shorten the foot. Wedge heels are big this spring and summer and cool canvas and fabric wedges come in a rainbow of colors and prints. You can get them from ultra high four inches to more casual lower heeled versions. Here are a couple of options that will work: http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/95056030-glynis/37 is a nice lower heeled wedge. http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/93976140-stralsund/46 these are a bit dressier and will also work with summer skirts and sun dresses. http://www.aldoshoes.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/93991500-celenia/32 a basic canvas wedge like this can go with almost everything. http://www.callitspring.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/93522480-stolarik/53 this is a sky high floral wedge that's very trendy and this canvas one: http://www.callitspring.com/ca-eng/women/sandals/wedges/94812367-marceli/17 has a very different shape to the heel part of the wedge. There's lots of wedges in stores, all you need to do is find the ones you like the best.

quick question on fashion footwear?

Q. if you guys know about fashion foot wear please help me out cause i dont know a thing about it
i have to find an image of a (basic , fad , fashion) footwear .. i need u guys to help me out please

-Macy's

Starting clothing business.?
Q. hello everyone, please i would love to know places in the UK and America were I can get trendy cloths and shoes for young people and adult at wholesale prices?
and what are the pros and cons of starting a business like this?
thanks.

A. .. Ok..
Depends on your location first.. (High traffic location is a must for clothing business)..
what will be your specialty ?? adult / females/ males/ or everything ??.. it will cost you alot much if you get everything at once as a start.. and you would not have the nice variety for each devision you want ..
If you are looking to sell Adult and young people, clothes and Shoes.... you are looking for $70,000.00 at least to make a decent start, and decent startup push profit.. or customers base..

If you look for specialty first , as women clothes, or men, or kids, it would be better to concentrate and make good name for your start, with less money damage if it turns out to be something else. plus the rest of the other $75,000 you would save for back-up plan, advertisment, etc....

there is many places.. yet the quality, and the shipping prices will make the difference..

what you will need to think before start :-
1- Location, Location, Location.............. high traffic with $5,000.00 better than away location with $1,000.00 rent, etc...
2- what will be your basic main customers ?? Young adults?? teens ?? working women ?? etc.....
3- You look for everything to have at once is very bad for your budget, (Except if you have at least $150,000.00 ) yes i'm serious..
You can start small (Not actually small) with $30,000 and you specified only with women trendy clothes you will have a decent collection which can cover a store of (3000 feet / 1000 Meters)..

Yet there is plenty of other factors as well.. and there is seasonal items and clothes, etc......

Need any help, will be more than glad.. Actually we have now pallets of (100pcs- 500pcs each) at a decent prices, as we are wholesalers and stores.. and we need to rennovate our stock each campaign (2months)..

so contact me if you are interested and will send you some photo's and site access,,.. or if you only have additional questions..
Good luck, and have a great day ..

A. Some more trends:

1) Military fashion - A great coat and aviator shoes with shearling

http://www.fashionisingpictures.net/fashiontrends/mensmilitaryfashiontrend.jpg

2) Suit trends - In men's suiting there's a move away from the 'skinny boy' suit, but that's not to say slim is out altogether nor that a boxy cut has replaced it. one that accents a sense of the masculine through three key silhouette elements:
a. broad shoulders
b. a slim waist
c. slim trousers

http://www.fashionisingpictures.net/fashiontrends/tomfordsuit2010.jpg

3) Sack suits - A sack suit is a largely unshaped cut of suit. Though not literally like a sack, it features the same natural shoulders of the drape cut, but is devoid of any front darting.

4) Brooches - the most popular of men's brooches take their cues from vintage Anglo-Saxon, English and Scottish brooches, and old-world motifs such as stag heads.

Ladies what kind of clothes do you like on men? Like styles, brands, stores ect.?
Q. Im a 20 year old slim male. I feel like im starting to grow out of the clothing stores I used to shop at as a teenager, maybe this is a sign of me becoming more mature! Haha but anyways I'd be helpful to hear some girls opinion on what looks good on a guy my age, what syles they like, and any good stores I should shop at. Thanks :)

A. My heart always skips a couple beats when I see a man in Burberry.

As far as styling goes, I'm head over heels for guys who channel their inner trendy professor- slightly disheveled but also very dapper. Bonus points for argyle, elbow patches, sneakers, and geeky glasses. For a more casual look, go for premium denim and a James Perse v-neck, paired with a high end hoodie, if climate control is necessary. Make sure you wear good shoes. Women are obsessed with shoes.

On to brands. Designer clothing is king. Once again, I love Burberry. Marc Jacobs is another one of my favorites. Ralph Lauren, Dolce and Gabbana, and basically anything from Barneys are all good bets. If those are out your range, try perusing their look books for inspiration and then book it to H&M or Urban Outfitters.

My favorite store for men by far is J.Crew. The style/cost/quality ratio is perfect, and they are always willing to help. If you have a large budget make the sales associates at Saks, Neimans, and Nordstrom your new bff. Otherwise, go for well made store brands for basics, and supplement them with trendier pieces from Urban Outfitters, Forever 21.

All that being said, be true to yourself. Trust me, women will notice.

what brand of trainers are trendy nice for a female?

Q. i usualy wear heels but i want some trainers for days out and just for comfort i bought a pair of very cheap plain black ones but hate them. id be happier if they were pink or more girly looking :) ive been looking at skechers and pink converse but dont know wich will look best. or if there are any brands i should look at

A. Skechers are great and they also help you shape up and tone your body just by wearing them around walking or on the job or anywhere else they even have running shoes to give burn calories than other shoes.
They are worth trying out because they will tone your body up and make you look leaner and taller just by regularly wearing them.
They got cool colors like pink and purple and more, they are quite trendy in additional to their health benefits even Kim Kardashian wears them and they have a complete collection by her name.
The skechers Tone ups are cool too. I like Women's Shape-ups - Kinetix Response S R T.
I've written an article on the benefits of Shape Ups, if you're interested to know more check it out at the link below. The article is on men's shoes but the benefits are the same for both.

Where can I buy these shoes?
Q. I really want a pair of the 5 finger shoes for women. The only place I can think of buying them would be off on online, but I hate buying anything that I haven't tried on and seen in person.

What stores sell them? Thanks.

A. You can get them at any warehouse shoe sale or foot action. I got mine at warehouse shoe sale there way cheap like $50.00 or less. They don't carry them at foot locker cause there not considered "trendy" just watch though they'll have them sooner or later.

I need one that's grippy. I've heard that 'es are grippy, but I don't know. I think Vans suck, so don't say Vans. I currently have ADIOs and they are mediocre. My shoes size is 6- 6.5. HELP! Globes, DCs, and iPath are recommended to me, but I like DVSs, `es, and DCs.
I kind of like Emerica, es, DVS the most

A. the best shoes i have found to skate in are either circa or fallen shoes they last for a long time comfortable and will grip your board good but out of the three shoes you like i would go with DVS they are a good strong shoe to skate in and they do grip a board nicely.. Es are nice shoes but they dont last and i wont wear DC's as they are too trendy everyone has a pair of DC's LOL...

Women's Running shoes!?

Q. I need to purchase new running shoes. I currently run 5-7 miles per day mainly on the treadmill. I have narrow feet and VERY high arches. My current pair are Asics to which I added poly sorb insoles, I love them now, but they were really hard to break in, they pushed down on my toes for a long time (no they are not too small, I always get my feet measured and the size has been the same for a long time). So ladies or men who REALLY know about women's running shoes, can anyone recommend a shoe for my foot type and need that will not take forever to break in? I would love to go to a specialty running store, but there is not one in my area.
BTW-I don't care about what is cute or trendy.

A. 2 words: New Balance. They're great running and walking shoes.. They are very light weight and merciless on the balls of your feet... They are really comfortable... I ran track and I would slip them on after I ran and they are a good quality shoe.. pricy but good.

Stylish but not Trendy Casual Shoes for Men?
Q. I am a man looking for a different type of shoe. I have a pair of Jordan High tops and White Nike Low tops for casual wear. I hate when people jump on the bandwagon for fashion and getting something just because everyone else has it. For example, in my high school, Vans Authentic shoes and Sperry boating shoes (Boys & Girls) are very popular. I really like the Vans, but everybody has them and I refuse to buy them.

It would be nice if people could leave some suggestions on some shoes that are stylish and attractive (FOR MEN) but not really trendy. I'm sure that it will be mostly women that answer this question, so this is the question for the women. What do you think looks attractive on men?

Also, I am in high school. I'm an upperclassmen. Thanks! :)

A. Confidence looks attractive.

As far as footwear: loafers, oxfords/brogues, sneakers, tennis/running shoes, sandals, boots, boat shoes (Sperry's are a classic, not a trend. My grandfather has lived in them [and moccasins] for as long as I have been alive), moccasins, etc.

Help Male 2 Female Transsexual needs help building a confident/feminine wardrobe, what are 10 must have basics?
Q. I've shopped a lot in the past without trying many things on and have ended up paying for it. One it doesn't look good on a more masculine figure or it just doesn't look good or feel comfortable. I'm to the point now where I want to start building confidence in myself and being able to go full time on a more regular basis ending up being full time and I need to build my wardrobe from the floor up.

Right now I'm having issues trying to find the right medium in terms of pants size, L-XL/12-/14. The lower end seems kinda tight, and the higher end seems kinda large. As for tops I don't really have many that fit me anymore and I have similar issues with the Large-XL tops being too small or too large and not right for me. Obviously I don't have curves and things will not fit exactly right.

I'm looking for items that I can build a solid base upon. I don't have a lot of money and could use suggestions and ideas on great places or items.

I'm blonde, blue eyed about 5'10'', very light complexion.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

A. Well, you haven't told us where you are in your transition (starting, middle, completed?) Typically, with HRT, your body will start to redistribute fat and muscle towards female proportions. This may take time (years even) but as it happens, your clothes should start to fit you better. A good diet and exercise can help quite a bit. Since male bodies have more upper body bulk, women's tops tend to fit transsexual women poorly through the shoulders, and least until they lose some muscle. You need to work on losing that upper body muscle by limiting your caloric intake, and eat less protein.

I am also quite tall, and I've found that a good place to shop for basic clothes that are very inexpensive is Old Navy. They carry a very extensive selection for tall people, including jeans in 36" inch inseams, and their website is very good. www.onehanesplace.com is a good site for reasonably priced undergarments, hose, etc. Remember, you can always return things that don't fit.

Ten must-have basics...

1) Good quality undergarments in colors that match your tops
2) An assortment of basic tee's/tanks and camis
3) Jeans - at least a few styles... tight/sexy, loose n comfy, dressy
4) Some regular pants/slacks
5) At least one nice dress for parties & formal occasions
6) Some dressy tops
7) Shorts for the summer (or skirts)
8) Sweaters/hoodies for cooler weather
9) A winter coat - wool peacoat or mid-length leather (hat, scarf, gloves also)
10) A business suit of some type for job interviews or professional events

Then, of course, you'll need shoes... sandals for spring & summer, dress boots for fall, winter boots, sneakers, dress shoes for work, some heels for going out, flats for walking all day, and some casual shoes - slides, wedges, slingbacks, loafers, etc.

A few different belts to go with various outfits. Some accessory type jewelry. At least one nice quality handbag, a small purse or clutch. There are just so many other things... tights, leggings, socks, swimsuit, pjs, sweatpants. And don't forget that most women have seasonal wardrobes, so over time, as you add to your wardrobe think in terms of what is appropriate not just for the venue, but for the time of year. With your hair and complexion, you have a lot of options, but go with darker, bold colors. You'll get lost in white & beige. You can coordinate eye makeup with your outfit as well.

Go to the mall, find a seat and just observe what other women are wearing. Most will be dressed casually, usually jeans and a basic top. Most will be wearing flats, or low heeled shoes. Be sure to note the difference in how older and younger women dress. Women's clothes are AGE APPROPRIATE. Younger girls tend to dress more trendy/provocatively, but an older woman can get away with dressing younger if she keeps herself fit and in shape.

size 13 women's shoes?

Q. I wear a size 13 women's shoe, Im not ashamed of my shoe size because i am really tall and i'm use to them. i cant find any cute trendy shoes anywhere!!! some say try payless but they have no grip what so ever and i do not want to be slipping and sliding all over the place. Any suggestions?

A. Nadia, your feet are a size bigger than mine (mens 10.5/ womens 12), and I consider that sexy especially if you pedicure.

Try barefoottess.com, they go up to 15 with lots of styles. They hardly have anything under size 11!

I have big feet. How am I to find a pair of descent, good-looking shoes with feet as big as mine??
Q. It's like this, I go to a shoe store & all of he shoes there are so trendy and everything. So, for feet as big as mine, I cant find one that I'm satisfied with. I wear sport shoes to school. And that ain't comfortable.

A. YOU DIDN'T SAY WHAT SIZE AND IT'S NOT NECESSARY FOR ME TO KNOW. GO ONLINE AND TRY MASON SHOES, MORDSTROM'S, CLOUD CLIMBERS, LANE BRYANT AND FOR DISCOUNT SHOES AND BOOTS TRY JESSICA LONDON. EACH COMPANY LISTED HAS CATALOGS ONLINE AND IN PAPER. THE SIZES RANGE FROM NARROW TO EXTRA WIDE AND THEY HAVE YOUNG UP TO DATE SELECTIONS FOR THE MOST PART. THERE ARE SOME SPECIALTY SHOE STORES OUT HERE TOO. JUST BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF AND SURF THE NET. TRY "LARGE SIZE SHOES FOR WOMEN" FOR INITIAL WEB SEARCH AND TAKE IT FROM THERE.

Do anyone know where I can find fashion trendy wide width shoes?

Q.

A. Call Customer Service 1-800#, or email them.
This is YAHOO, it's a World Wide Web and many of us have not even bought anything or work @WIDE shoes or any other shoe stores.

Buyer beware when it comes to buying shoes online, and I do not rec. using PayPal. I got screwed, took 3 years for my credit.
I bought 2 pair of shoes, $700 worth @ Zappos, where they have free shipping & free returns. I am a 5 1/2, so I bought a size 6. Returned them. Ordered a 5, too small. I saved $700.
I went to Nordstrom's, they're having shoe sales. Found 2 shoes, both less than $300. Both were rated as 'best comfortable shoes for walking'. BTW: I wore one of the boots for 4 hours, and I didn't even do that much walking, mostly standing on the same spot . . . . and I was already limping. I took it back the following day!
My son bought a pair of Nike beach sandals. They didn't come in his size, so he bought the one larger. They weren't sold in stores! He was walking around sandals too big, only because he didn't want to pay for return shipping and re-stocking fees.
Shoes that are good for some, may hurt your feet. Just saying!

Shoes to wear in the fall?
Q. I need a pair of shoes for the fall to wear to school. Basically shoes for days when its too cold for flip flops or sandles, and too warm for uggs. I dont like sneakers. Any ideas?
I'm a girl btw:p
I'm a girl btw:p

A. Well... You might just want to go to a store and ask the sales person for a shoe that's right for you. Personally, I would go for a pair of boots ( very in for the fall-winter season), ballet flats, high heels, or a pair of creepers ( which are like platformed converse without the sneaker look and again are a very trendy thing this upcoming season according to TeenVogue)
