Every time I do a search The same old web-pages appear! I've tried every wording in the book and still come up with the same web-pages. Can anyone help me with this?

Need opinions: Which shoes should I buy? I cant decide?
Q. Okay so my friends going to america for a holiday soon and she's offering to buy things for her friends. I'm really not sure what to get!! Either these nike free runs, (i'm not sure what colour i want but this is just an example) that everyone has and i can wear to school for sport and look "trendy":

http://www.choosefrees.com/images/nike_free_run_2_women_red_orange_01.jpg

Or these converse that i have wanted for ages and i am in love with and i can wear dressy or casual:

http://www.modakulvar.com/etiket/converse-chuck-taylor-all-star-hi-top-black-monochrome-canvas-shoes/converse-chuck-taylor-all-star-hi-top-black-monochrome-canvas-shoes_12.jpg

Does it really matter what shoes you wear to school? Most people wear normal joggers like me but i would really like to own a pair of nikes, but on the other hand i so want these converse they would go with any outfit uhh i need lots of opinions and pros and cons so please help me out!
Thanks a lot xx

A. Guy opinion: Cons are always stylin': colors come and go, but there's no new or old style - they're Cons. And the the more wornout they get, kewler they look !

Really, for sports you want the support of specific-activity walkers, joggers, runners, trainers, etc. But for all-day wear, Cons are more comfie & breath better.

Big thing for girls here are the knee-high ones: seem edgie with jeans or somehow dressy too.

Stylish but not Trendy Casual Shoes for Men?

Q. I am a man looking for a different type of shoe. I have a pair of Jordan High tops and White Nike Low tops for casual wear. I hate when people jump on the bandwagon for fashion and getting something just because everyone else has it. For example, in my high school, Vans Authentic shoes and Sperry boating shoes (Boys & Girls) are very popular. I really like the Vans, but everybody has them and I refuse to buy them.

It would be nice if people could leave some suggestions on some shoes that are stylish and attractive (FOR MEN) but not really trendy. I'm sure that it will be mostly women that answer this question, so this is the question for the women. What do you think looks attractive on men?

Also, I am in high school. I'm an upperclassmen. Thanks! :)

A. Confidence looks attractive.

As far as footwear: loafers, oxfords/brogues, sneakers, tennis/running shoes, sandals, boots, boat shoes (Sperry's are a classic, not a trend. My grandfather has lived in them [and moccasins] for as long as I have been alive), moccasins, etc.

A. i say NIKE sport shoes(:
i mean they have runner shoes; or any type of sports your doing.
and if your looking for trendy one; nikes have different kinds of styles and colors for women.

I really want some cool shoes.?
Q. I like green and polka dots, but I'm guessing there are no green polka dot shoes. But i do like green. I want them to be athletic and trendy. I want them to be unique, but not weird. Under $120 please

A. It wouldn't be hard to find some green athletic shoes, but it would be hard to find a polka dot pair. I would check through Converse. They usually have shoes in every color & pattern.

Here are some by Nike, but I'm not sure if they're men or women shoes.

Where can I find information on the company who manufactures Starter sportswear?

Q.

A. Nike is the owner and manufacturer on the Starter sportswear line of clothing.

NIKE, Inc. (NYSE: NKE)
1 Bowerman Dr.
Beaverton, OR 97005-6453

Phone: 503-671-6453
Fax: 503-671-6300
http://www.nikebiz.com

NIKE is the world's #1 shoemaker and controls more than 20% of the US athletic shoe market. The company designs and sells shoes for a variety of sports, including baseball, cheerleading, golf, volleyball, hiking, tennis, and football. NIKE also sells Cole Haan dress and casual shoes and a line of athletic apparel and equipment. In addition, it operates NIKETOWN shoe and sportswear stores, NIKE factory outlets, and NIKE Women shops. NIKE sells its products throughout the US and in about 160 other countries. Nike brand veteran Mark Parker succeeded Bill Perez, who resigned in 2006, as president and CEO.

Image-savvy NIKE sells its products through about 22,000 retail accounts in the US and through independent distributors and licensees in other countries. Subsidiaries include Cole Haan (dress and casual footwear), Bauer NIKE Hockey (hockey equipment), Hurley International (sports apparel for skateboarding, snowboarding, and surfing), and Converse (classic and retro-style shoes including the Chuck Taylor brand). In 2004 it purchased athletic apparel and footwear makers Official Starter Properties and Official Starter LLC. In late 2004 NIKE bundled the brands into a unit called Exeter Brands Group, based in New York City. The group develops brands in discount retailers, such as Wal-Mart and Target.

The company is rethinking some of its long-standing agreements with retailers, particularly during the retail industry's consolidation push in 2005. As Sears and Kmart begin to polish its own image as a combined entity, NIKE decided effective October 2005 to no longer sell its products in Sears stores nationwide. Sears carries competitor brands: New Balance, Reebok, adidas, and Skechers.

NIKE is keeping its eye on its brands and how customers perceive them -- and on the competition. When adidas-Salomon acquired Reebok in 2006, the deal put the joined companies in a position to compete with longstanding rival NIKE, which has held the top spot in the athletic apparel and footwear markets worldwide for decades.

Looking over its shoulder (striving to maintain its top spot), Nike began actively filing patent lawsuits in 2006 against its competitors, specifically adidas-Salomon. Nike asserts that adidas has used elements of its SHOX cushioning technology in developing the adidas Kevin Garnett and A3 shoes.

NIKE's also honing in on active female customers, particularly in 2005. It became fully committed to women in 2000, when the firm began making its women's shoes using molds made from women's feet. It had been using molds made from a small man's foot. The company followed up by expanding its apparel in fashionable colors and by rolling out trendy low-rise workout pants. Being known as a brand that caters to men (its "Be Like Mike" ad campaign) and as one that supports athletes who take performance and sports seriously, NIKE is focusing more on women who want workout fashion. While NIKE has experienced failed attempts to capture the attention of this target segment, the firm has reworked its organizational, product, and marketing strategy to get there this time around. The plan involves expanding its NIKE Women brand with a catalog and Web site redesign. It also anticipates operating a dozen NIKE Women stores in the US by mid-2006.

Like most clothing and footwear makers, NIKE is vulnerable to the moods of a fickle teen market. In the mid-priced shoe segment, brands such as Skechers have cut into the company's market share. Following the success of NIKE-sponsored golfer Tiger Woods, NIKE has developed a set of golf clubs and unveiled a Tiger Woods apparel line. In addition, the company -- which relies on contract manufacturers -- has taken steps to avoid more criticism of human rights violations in its factories.

In 2004, less than a year after entering the market, NIKE closed all of its Paris operations because of difficulties with its French franchise operator. The closures do not affect NIKE's otherwise healthy European expansion, including store openings in Barcelona, Hamburg, Lisbon, Madrid, and Milan, among others. The company altered the name of its women's stores, broadening the name from Goddess (taking on the original meaning of "Nike") to NIKE Women.

Co-founder Philip Knight announced in November 2004 he would step down as president and CEO, though he will continue as chairman of the company. Former S.C. Johnson & Son chief William Perez was tapped as Knight's successor but he lasted a year in the top spot. Mark Parker, a longtime Nike brand executive, was named president and CEO in January 2006, when Bill Perez left the company.

How many clothe/outfits should i get ? please read!!?
Q. I have 300 dollars to spend ( I saved up for months) and I'm planning on going to the mall so I don't have to go through the hastle of driving around to different stores (I'm 15 btw) and I'm hitting an extreme growth thingy.. I don't know what its called but I'm constantly loosing and gaining weight, and I'm getting taller (finally) but I really need clothes cuz I only have 4 pairs of jeans like 13 shirts and 3 pairs of shoes. (Lots of underwear and bras) so, I decided to be wise with my money and buy clothes but I was wondering.. should I spend all of my money on clothes in the mall (in different stores) or if not then how many:
Pairs of shoes
Pants (long pants, its winter now)
Shirts (tees and longs)
Also, what are some stores I could go to? (Cheap and trendy) I'm not looking for name brand , pants are pants aero or not. Just basic clothes that I could wear but cute at the same time.
Whoever answers ALL of my questions in the post most in depth and understandable will get best answer! Thanks!! (:

A. Oh, you bet I can help you shop!!!
Ok, so what kinds of shoes do you have? If you had, say, a pair of boots, running shoes, and dressy shoes you might be okay. I get a lot of hand me downs (tiny feet), so I have a lot more. But, if I had to pay for them...ok back to the point! So I can't tell you an exact number, but I can give you some tips. Its good to have-
1 sandal
1flip-flop
I "school shoe" (Toms, Nike, Sperry, Keens, Converse, etc)
1 Boot (depends on where you live)
1 dressy shoe
Ok, so you have 3 pairs of jeans? That's not bad! If you wear them all, you might be good! I have more but, hand me downs...I have only like 3 that I wear a lot. Maybe just one more pair?
Shirts...unlike jeans, you can tell if they are re-worn again and again!
13 isn't bad!
I would try to get like maybe 2 more?
Aeropostale has good ones, so does Forever 21.
So like maybe 10 long sleeve, 10 short sleeve? Maybe 7 of each.
Here's some stores. Check out the websites and see if you like them-
http://www.aeropostale.com/shop/index.jsp?categoryId=3534619
http://wetseal.com/home.jsp
http://oldnavy.gap.com/
http://www.target.com/c/women-juniors/-/N-5ouvk#?lnk=nav_t_spc_1_inc_1_3
All of these sites have search engines. Type in the following on each of them, and you'll have what you need! Well, if you like it.
Old navy- Women's Licensed Character tees
Women's waffle knit graphic tees
Target- Women's Mossimo supply co. Odell ruffle ballet flats
Mossimo supply co. Juniors skinny Jean vintage wash
Mossimo supply co juniors short sleeve tee
Aeropostale- long sleeved striped thermal Henley
Solid v-neck tee
Long sleeve navy and lime striped plaid shirt
Ok, maybe not everything, but just some ideas. Hope I helped, and have fun shopping!

STYLE FOR BACK TO SCHOOL?

Q. im 14 and a girl(:
im not loving my boring teeshirts and jeans look... can someone give me advice or send a link on what i should wear thats new and different. thankss(: pleaseee..

A. Here's some advice:

Jeans:
-The average person has 7 pairs of jeans. That being said, you don't need seven off the bat. A good number to start with is 3, and then work your way up.
-Dark wash jeans are slimming, and everyone could use a couple pairs of dark wash jeans
-the classic colors (and ones that you should focus on getting) are dark wash, medium wash, light wash, black, grey, and white (the last three are bordering on trendy but they will still look good for years to come)
-colored jeans (like turquoise, yellow, purple) are trendy; get them if you're okay with wearing them for only the next couple of years
-Every girl does not look good in skinny jeans, nor does every girl look good in all the denim fits. You must accept that your body is best flattered by only certain fits
-Skinny jeans look best on skinny women, because the tapered leg makes the hips look wider and curvier by comparison
-straight leg or bootcut fit jeans look best on most women, because they are the classic fits and flatter the average woman with average hips.
-bootcut or flare jeans look best on curvy women, because the flared leg at the bottom slims the hips a little by comparison, slimming and lengthening the entire leg
-wide-leg trouser jeans look best on plus-sized women, because the wide leg gives a clean, long line that flatters the plus-sized woman's curves
-when you find the perfect fit for you, any color jean will work. even though people say white denim accents your "flaws" like big butt, big thighs, etc, if the fit works on you, then it flatters you, and the color is only a detail
-low rise looks best on women with short torsos, long legs or big butts
-mid rise looks best on women with a "pouch" that they'd like to hide or plus size women
-mid or high rise looks best on women with longer torsos or plus size women
-cheap denim has its merits; when the jeans are damaged or destroyed, they are cheap to repurchase/replace. they can even be as cheap as $10 is some places
-premium/designer denim has its merits too; they are made of Pima cotton, which is a higher quality cotton that makes denim last longer due to longer fibers. designer denim tends to fit a greater variety of people better, because designer denim stores tend to focus only on denim and so cater to more peoples' tastes. premium jeans are known to last a decade with the proper care
-to take proper care of denim, machine wash cold and air dry. there are other ways to make jeans last even longer though, check out this handy guide: http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Navigation/Deni

Jackets:
-Every woman has different styles of jackets that look best on them. Check out myshape.com, where you can find the body type that best fits you, and read the tips on what types of jackets flatter you best: http://www.myshape.com/shop/shape-anatom

Sweaters:
-sweater quality depends on price and materials used. cotton tends to be the cheapest, and is usually great for everyone
-merino wool is in the middle concerning price and warmth retention
-cashmere is the best in terms of softness, and warmth retention, but it is expensive and must be taken care of

Shoes:
-it depends on what you want in shoes. try out all the styles when you go shoe shopping
-converse (chuck taylors)
-ballet flats
-sandals
-gladiator sandals (trendy)
-sneakers (like Nike)
-boots (like Uggs)
-slouchy boots (trendy)
-clogs
-boat shoes and oxfords (very preppy)

purses/bag:
-up to you

Layering tops:
-vests
-cardigans
-basically anything can be a layering top, try neutral colors if you're unsure (classic neutral colors: khaki, navy, grey, burgundy, black, white)

Style:
-you can have it based off an pre-existing label (like prep) but try to distinguish yourself, throwing in interesting shoes, or accessories, or wear jeans/corduroy instead of chinos (for example)
-it helps to write out what you want yourself to look like
-try things you've never thought to try on before (maybe henleys, polos, rugby shirts, corduroy, sweater vests, dresses, etc)
-remember, keep patters to scale: if you are petite, small patters look best (like pinstripe), if you are big, big patters look best (like thick stripes). Solid colors look best on everyone.
-Petite women should try to stay away from polka dot, because it may remind people of Minnie Mouse

Shops for your age:
-PacSun
-Hollister
-American Eagle
-Aeropostale
-Forever 21
-Anchor Blue
-Gap
-J.Crew
-Hot Topic
-Converse
-Vans
-Nike
-Creative Recreation
-Old Navy
-Seven For All Mankind
-Joe's Jeans
-Macy's
-Bloomingdale's
-Express
-Lacoste
-Lucky Brand Jeans
-Victoria's Secret (she's a man....just kidding...)
-H&M
-Heritage 1981
-Target
-Wal Mart
-Plato's Closet
-Buffalo Exchange
-True Religion
-Zara
-Torrid
-Armani Exchange
-American Apparel

Good luck!

1. Review shoe trade magazines or websites, such as Women's Wear Daily for the latest footwear news (see Resources). This will help you identify your niche. While Nike, Reebok and ASICS are popular sneakers, you might be better off selling fashion sneakers such as those made by Sketchers, Diesel, Camper or Puma. In that case, instead of having athletic-themed accessories, you should consider more fashionable accessories, such as wallets, messenger bags, bracelets, watches and sunglasses. Consider incorporating a nightclub theme, particularly if your store will be located within a mall. Visit Alibaba.com and Sneakerfreaker.com, for insider news for shoe sellers.
2. Determine how much room you will need for your store. For a specialty sneaker store in a mall, you may need at least 1000 square feet, including your back room and office. Your back room needs to be large enough to accommodate your inventory and may be as big as the show room. Your show room should offer plenty of benches for customers to sit at while trying on shoes, as well as full length and short mirrors and two or three display tables. For a small store, you should have at least two cash registers. Larger sneaker stores may have as many as eight. If you intend to open a store in a shopping center or as a stand alone sneaker store, it should be at least 1500 square feet. Contact mall management about vacancies fitting your needs. Also, frequent strip malls and shopping centers for vacancies. Other amenities you may need include phone jacks for your registers, a break room, water fountains and bathrooms.
3. Purchase your store front supplies. To stand apart, consider purchasing trendy versions of your supplies, such as colored mannequins, funky chandeliers and cool lighting. If you can't find colored mannequins, purchase a traditional mannequin and spray paint it. For cool lighting, visit Lamplust.com; for shelving, mannequins, mirrors and other fixtures.
4. Purchase your must-have supplies such as shopping baskets, display cases, exit signs, shelving, racks, shoe mirrors, shoes store bags, shoe and leg mannequins, inserts, shoe sizers, footlets, shoe fitting stools or benches and any specialty gear. For custom packing supplies, visit Swalter.com; for measuring tools, visit Brannock.com. You will also need cleaning supplies, advertising signage, cash registers, receipt paper, schedule forms, bank deposit forms and gift wrapping materials (if offered). For cleaning supplies, shopping baskets, security systems and pricing tags.
5. Visit http://www.indiamart.com to purchase wholesale sneakers in some of the latest trends. For generic sneakers under $10 a pair.
6. Purchase insurance for fire, damage and theft, as well as liability and product insurance and worker's compensation insurance.
7. Set up a merchant account. Visit Merchants Account Express (see Resources) to set up an account so that you can begin accepting credit cards. Check out their tools that can help get you set up with the right equipment, such as your Point-of-Sale (POS) terminal, Quickbooks and other software to help you track and manage your inventory and payroll.
8. Train your employees to be fashionable, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Make sure they understand how to measure feet. They should be skilled at recognizing what a customer might be interested in and able to make suggestions for pairing items.

I want to dress more feminine?
Q. I recently turned 21, and Id really like to dress more like a women..
I dont really have the best sense of whats cute, Ive always dressed kind of tomboyish
I usually wear leggings, t shirts, nikes, a snapback.. I like this look for somedays, but I want to switch it up to being more feminine. Ive mostly been pretty insecure most my life,
people say im pretty but I wish I knew how to dress more like a girl..
I have a pear shaped body, and have smaller boobs >;(
Any tips or suggestions?

A. Learning to Dress More Feminine
By Audrey Fine
from Seventeen magazine

"I am really sporty and love to wear pants. I wanted to start to dress a little more feminine, but not overdo it. Where do I start?"

Kelly W., San Marino, CA,

"I know it may seem scary or intimidating to dress in a way you're not comfortable with, but easing your way into it will help make you feel more comfortable. And, since spring is around the corner, it will be a snap for you to begin to incorporate more feminine pieces into your everyday look without feeling like you've gone 100 percent girlie. Cropped pants and shorts are cute, so a few of these worn with a cute trendy shoe instead of a casual sneaker will help you make your mark. You can also start accessorizing more as well; try earrings, belts, and maybe a couple of bangle bracelets with jeans and tees. Also, just by changing the kind of tee you wear (say, swap in a cute baby-doll for a rock-band type) can make a huge difference. Good luck!"

Hi can you make a living selling on ebay.?
Q. if yes what sells best clothes, electrics, dvds ect..
how many things do you have to list a day.
many thanks.

A. Yes, absolutely
I personally go with electronics but if you use eBay Pulse. This is a list of the top 10 most searched for items in each category, and then sub-category. This should be your list of dream items to encounter while shopping. These items are the ones you should buy with little hesitation when seeing.

In fact, it is a good idea to keep a notebook and write these things down to take with you on your product buying adventures. Though, it is a good idea to note the reason most of these things are so sought after is because they are expensive, so it might be hard to find them in your daily searches. But it is possible.

For example, I sell a lot of used clothing on Ebay when I can not find anything else. Clothing is a reliable source of income for me, and something which is fairly easy to fall back on. Now when I look at the current Ebay Pulse list, it shows the top ten items that are selling best on eBay under Clothing, Shoes and Accessories:

1. coach

2. nike shoes

3. louis vuitton

4. gucci

5. chanel

6. prada

7. abercrombie

8. juicy couture

9. shoes

10. hollister

Now I know I am not going to run across Coach, or Louis Vuitton products very often, but things like Juicy Couture, Hollister, and Abercrombie are fairly common. The top 10 lists get narrowed down even further. Most of the clothes I find are women's, so it makes sense for me to know what the most popular selling women's clothing is:

1. abercrombie

2. rock & republic

3. diesel

4. lucky

5. hollister

6. juicy couture

7. bebe

8. banana republic

9. american eagle

10. bcbg

This list is far more accessible than the previous one. The least common thing to find here is rock & republic, and the others are fairly common. I have a list of these brands memorized now, but I used to print them out and take them with me on my clothes shopping adventures.

Another good idea to find out what brand names are selling well on eBay is to watch TV. For example, there are always Gap and Old Navy commercials on. Every time there is a commercial on TV it is advertising partially for you. Even though Gap and Old Navy are not on the list, they are more common than anything found above, and sell through very well. Sometimes surprisingly well! I am always pleasantly surprised whenever I buy a used pair of Old Navy Jeans and sell them for $10-$20.

Other places to look for popular brands are at some of the trendiest stores. Look to the mall, Macy's, Bloomingdales, Pacsun, Urban Outfitters etc... It is their job to find the best selling brands and stock the store with them. It is a good idea to search through their stores and note the brands which they are selling. And don't feel like you have to go to the mall, check out their websites!

These sorts of strategies should work when looking for any item. Look to eBay Pulse in the category you like to sell in, and also think about what kinds of stores sell similar products you are looking to sell.

It is all so easy, and well worth the time spent. Keep a notebook!

how much to open a sneaker store?
Q.

A. Below given steps will help you.

4. Purchase your must-have supplies such as shopping baskets, display cases, exit signs, shelving, racks, shoe mirrors, shoes store bags, shoe and leg mannequins, inserts, shoe sizers, footlets, shoe fitting stools or benches and any specialty gear. For custom packing supplies, visit Swalter.com; for measuring tools, visit Brannock.com. You will also need cleaning supplies, advertising signage, cash registers, receipt paper, schedule forms, bank deposit forms and gift wrapping materials (if offered). For cleaning supplies, shopping baskets, security systems and pricing tags.

Good luck!"

how much to open a sneaker store?

Q.

A. Below given steps will help you.
